Awesome food! The '$14' lunch buffet with a spread consisting of nan, rice, butter chicken, lamb roganjosh, goat curry, beef rendang, vegetable curry, potato dry, dal, salad, chutney, pickle, two deserts is out of this world! Just unbelievable for the most awesome food outside India!
This restaurant would have to be one of Perths best, awesome food & service, a place that is so warm & friendly the staff & management make you feel like you are part of there Family. I would recommend this Restaurant as a must to all Perths locals & guests. 👍
Had an opportunity to visit Cinnamon at Victoria Park and it was simply an awesome experience. Starting from the reservation, to making us feel comfortable at the restaurant, service and to top it all of the amazing food. It was mouth watering. Got privilege to meet and spend some time with the Masterchef himself. Such a gem of a person. Highly recommend it for fabulous Indian/Malaysian cuisine. Keep rocking!
The prices for the amount you get is just fantastic. Highly suggest to check it out.
First time and wow. What excellent food. So impressively served and with that authentic Indian food flavour. We had the Chicken Korma, Beef vindaloo and the spicy malaysian prawns. I think they were nice to us not making the vindaloo really hot but it was hot enough. and we could have gone hotter. Really good , sent our compliments to the chef. Would recommend this place to anyone who loves this type of food and wants a good experience.
My favourite Indian in Vic Park. Fantastic Vindaloo and Garlic Naan to die for - some of the best I've had. My companion wasn't too knowledgable about Indian food and the server was very patient with her, which was rather sweet.
We brought a takeaway butter chicken, coconut rice, onion bhaji and garlic naan. It was very very good! The butter chicken sauce was creamy and delicious and went perfectly with the coconut rice! I liked how the chicken pieces werent huge chunks like some other places. The onion bhaji was crispy, not to spicy and went well with the refreshing green sauce. Naan was also cooked well. One minor thing I noticed was maybe these were pre-made and kept in the fridge? As it seemed like they curry and rice were not as hot as expected when we got them home - a quick zap in the microwave fixed that though. The Great taste more than made up for that! I will definitely be back
We had a beautiful lunch meal here. Such good value for money at $16 each for buffet. We also ordered some naan. As the selection was limited for buffet I cannot give a full review, however what we had was great! Would definitely come again.
Went here for a Christmas dinner with work colleagues. I enjoyed everything I tried. Atmosphere was nice. Staff seemed a little overwhelmed. In their defence too many people at our table were speaking to them at once. I will definitely go back.
Butter chicken was amazing - nice and creamy and not sour like some places do it. Eggplant dish (spicy!!) and garlic naan were also nice. Just really pricey for what you get! We only got 12 pieces of chicken cubes for $18.95! Service on the phone and in store were both lovely.
My boyfriend and caught up with my parents for lunch in Vic Park. We weren't sure what we felt like so we just walked down Albany Highway to see what was around. We saw Cinnamon and decided to give it a go. We saw there was a buffet on offer, but we looked at the menu anyway. There was a good selection on the al la carte menu and the prices were reasonable. We all went up and had a look at what was available in the buffet and we were impressed! There was a great selection of dishes, meat curries, vegetable curries, dahl, rice, samosas, spicy chicken wings, naan and salad with all the condiments and the food was noticeably fresh. We all decided to have the buffet. It was great value $14 per person and dessert was also included. My mum is Anglo Indian and she commented on how authentic the food is, especially the dahl. The service was great, the waitress was well informed, attentive and polite. I would come again and I would highly recommend.
Best Indian takeaway I've found so far in Perth!
Cinnamon make their butter chicken exactly how I like it - super creamy, a little sweet, and not too tomatoey. Their samosas had great flavour, and we loved their onion bhajis but by the time we got them home, they'd started to go soggy (probably don't order the bhajis if you're getting takeaway).
The woman who took our order on the phone was very friendly and our order was ready when we arrived at the restaurant to pick it up, so can't fault the service at all!
Cinnamon is a few dollars more expensive than other takeaways because it's Vic Park, but I think the quality can't be beaten. I'd like to dine in and try their buffet next time.
