Busy and efficient restaurant in a quiet corner of the busy area of Eastwood. Unique decorating with the items on the menu being shown on the walls. Quite cheap considering how big the noodle dish was. The noodles were slightly hard to chew and they were very loud. They gave us LOTS of noodles which we struggled to finish. The dumplings was delicious with the dough being quite thick.
Seabay is my go-to place in Eastwood whenever I am craving noodles. I highly recommend their Spicy beef noodle and garlic chili oil noodles. Their dumplings are also fantastic, though you do have to wait 15 minutes as they hand-wrap them. The pricing of the food is very reasonable and the portions are large. I took 1 star off for the service as the staff really aren't too attentive or polite but I will keep on coming back just for the food.

Whenever I see a restaurant that has handmade noodles, i must give it a try and Seabay didn't let me down. Their signature dish is the Xin Jiang style chicken with their thick/flat handmade noodles. Servings are generous and we had to take away too. Service was probably a bit lacking, but it was quite busy when we were there. Will have to visit again as the menu is extensive and the quality of food was good.

Large menu, very decent pricing and great authentic flavour! Great place for a quick tasty place to eat at, just don't expect any service, but the food and price makes up for it!
Really good handmade noodles and dumplings.
I particularly like the fried handmade noodles (although the pork is mince, so I prefer the other meats), the fried dumplings, and also the cold bean noodle.
The restaurant layout is long and narrow which is not so convenient, and the service can be hit and miss, but the food is great
This is one of my favourite places for a feed in Eastwood. I have been here a few times and I always enjoy the food! A very classic choice is the beef soup with hand made noodles. It’s simple and light, but done well. However, my absolute favourite go to are the fried hand made noodles. There’s just something about them that I can’t resist, and they are the ultimate comfort food. The noodles always have great flavour and the portion size is very generous for me personally.
I've also tried the chicken soup with hand made noodles and their fried chives egg buns (it's more of a pancake though), both of which are super enjoyable as well. Service is average, but you can't expect much in Eastwood and it's good enough when all you need to do is order your food. This restaurant epitomises what fairly cheap-ish and hearty asian food is all about.
Sea Bay is one of those restaurants that only few dishes well. To a point it iconic, I crave for that lamb spicy hand made noodle. It's amazing! Once a month...
Pan fried dumplings is best you get, the texture and flavor is truly unique.

There's no shortages of Chinese cuisine in Eastwood, but there's not many places around that do hand-made noodles. This place isn't rated very highly, but I think it's a decent eat for the price and the size of their dishes. You can tell by the people in the restaurant eating by themselves that this is more of a place you go when you need a quick meal that tastes like home.
We ordered the Hand-made noodles with Lamb and the Chicken with flat noodles, both costing $13.80 each. Firstly, the portions are huge! It's great because you only need one dish to fill you up. I really love the hand made noodles - they're chewy and thick and just the way you want them to be. There wasn't too much meat in the stir fry unfortunately, but it had a lot of flavour to make up for it. If you love your carbs, this is the place to go.
Downside is that the staff here really only speak Chinese. If you don't speak it, be prepared for a lot of gesturing at the menu. Will be back when that handmade noodle craving hits me again!
Look I don't know why people are expecting a 5 star Chinese culinary experience when they go to Seabay.
But if you are feeling lazy and are keen to drown yourself (for both the night, and lunch the next day) in thick, chewy handmade noodles with a tasty sauce for $13.80 you have found a winner.

We first got take away and was so impressed, usually take away the quality can change but I guess these handmade noodles are so thick that it doesn’t go soggy easy.
We really liked the mala spicy beef noodle soup so came back for this again and we still love it. Tried the xinjiang chicken noodle, we almost ordered medium size but the waitress was so considerate she told us that might be too much food for us so suggested a smaller portion. This saved $10 and food wastage. Overall the prices are so cheap here for the amount of servings you get.
Overall the customer service was amazing. The waitress was so attentive and friendly. She apologised when our last dish took awhile but we weren’t bothered as we were enjoying our first main and dumplings. She even warned us upfront how long the pan fried dumplings may take anyway. I’ve been to other places too but this overall is great quality, service and value. Highly recommend
Enjoyed the food here, especially the five spice beef and the handmade noodles. Will come back to try more dishes. Very reasonably priced.
4.7 - Style: Northern Chinese Food. Handmade noodles, soups, and dumplings. They've updated their menu. Plenty of cold dishes. The texture of the noodles (chopped, stir-fried or in soup) are springy and delicious. The amount of variety is amazing. Lamb skewers and buns are definitely a must-try and simple dishes like stir-fried Vegetables and Mushrooms will have your tastebuds singing! Today, I had Flavour Noodles and Snow Pea Sprouts - Yum!
Sea Bay has just received a nice reno/face lift, making the store look super modern and inviting. Dishes are generous and tasty. We shared the chopped noodles between 2 ladies. It was the perfect amount for us and the noodles had that great homemade quality/taste.
If you want real food and great service this place is a gem. This feels like home. Must try guys.
Their handmade dumplings and noodles are legit. I still don't get how they do it but I keep coming for more.
They've got plenty of vegetarian dishes and they do it extremely well.
For the price you pay, the quality and quantity is superb value.
