Standard korean food with generous servings. Egg soup was a bit too soupy and salty, but the tofu stew and beef rib soup was good. Can definitely share if not too hungry.

Roll call:
1. Seafood pancake; crispy with the right amount of fluffiness and filling. One of my fav at this joint.
6. Egg soup; soft cloud of eggy goodness. My munchkins fav at this joint.
59. Kimchi pork & tofu soup w rice; ok la.
65. Spicy soft tofu & seafood soup w rice; 🦑+🥒*🌶=🍲 ~💁🏻‍♀️ happy wife, happy life!
73. Stir fry spicy pork w rice; 1st time tried this dish today. Not bad. Fatty cut but had balance with lots of veggie. When cooled down the caramelisation of the sugars add a new dimension.

One of our frequent haunts. 👻

*was going to snap pics to gain ‘extra points’ but my stomach overpowered my brains and resultant hostile takeover lead to my hands stuffing food into my face!

Awesome place! The food here is mouth-watering! We had the seafood pancake and the pork hot pot and both the dishes were really tasty.. The quantity was so good that we actually took back 2 boxes of the pork hot pot :-P
They also serve some really tasty pickles and sides.. The sweet potato is really something to look out for!
And the staff is really very polite and helpful.. When they got to know that we were having Korean food for the first time, they really went out of their way to help us with deciding on what to eat, and how to tackle the hot pot :-P
I would give them a 4.5 out of 5 and a big thumbs up!!

came here for the first time last week. side dishes are crazy varied! they come in rows and it's a pleasure to look at all the colours on your table. however the waitress took our order very quickly and got my friend's vegetarian bibimbap wrong. it was rectified very easily - almost too easily which makes me suspect they just scooped the meat off the original dish. thankfully he's not a strict vegan or allergic to anything but!!!! this a red flag for anyone that is!!
flavours are pretty good. lots of ingredients in my soondubu stew which i always look out for. pleasntly surprised by the soju discount i was met with as well when I finished my meal. coming back to try more soon.

Choose this purely for the rating as I was in the area and was craving Korean.

Ordered the Seafood pancake and Ginseng chicken soup. Although the soup was nowhere near as nice as the ones I've had in Seoul it was still nice. The only thing I'd say is that there was too much sticky rice stuffing inside and in the end the soup got a bit mushy.

The seafood pancake is one of the best I've had. It wasn't really doughy like a lot of them are. It was actually really nice and crispy.

The banchan was varied, plentiful and delicious!

Service was lacking a bit but it's fine. I'll be back again to try the other menu items.

SIZZLE. Welcome BBQ is highly rated on Zomato and my friend Mel choose this venue because she liked the name. I had no expectations but was surprised. Welcome BBQ is located in Eastwood and is a 5 minute walk from the station. From the outside, there is a

My first time eating Korean BBQ in Eastwood and Welcome BBQ was first on the list. The marinated beef and octopus hot pot was tasty and contained the perfect amount of spice to make the dish flavoursome. The hot pot was unbelievably filling and my housemate and I couldn't finish it (we should have skipped the fried dumplings for the entrée but no regrets here) I'd like to try Jonga Jip next and see if it holds its own against this joint. Will be back

I can't believe I have never dined here before, despite having Korean at Eastwood a countless number of times. Serious contender for one of the top Korean restaurants in the area! I do like Jonga Jip, but after some disappointing dishes, I might start going to Welcome BBQ a lot more. They give you a great selection of nine side dishes as well, which is a lot more than most places!

But not only that, after trying two dishes you can already tell the quality is there. The pork bone soup was delicious, tastes light and clean with all the flavours still packed in. It's not over seasoned, but just lets the deep broth and tender meat do the talking. The vegetarian bibimbap was also fresh and satisfying. It is a little bland and perfect for those that are health/calorie conscious. It does come with a small soybean paste soup (which was really good!), so will leave you full.

Just a tiny thing though... the owner is quite vocal and was visibly annoyed at one of the staff when she made a mistake and telling her off in front of customers. Awkward. I suppose it was his way of explaining to her how to do things because she did seem new, but some older Asian people just don't know how to do it in a way that doesn't make the staff or customer uncomfortable.

Overall, I would definitely go back. Food was great and don't think it gets as packed as some popular joints (at least when I went it was comfortably full).

Didn't have high hopes when we walked in. It was peak lunch hour and yet they only had one table seated. But I was very pleasantly surprised with the dishes we got. The ox tail soup had a nice level of depth and flavour. They were a bit stingy with the beef though. The neng myun was refreshing and very flavourful. A bit too sweet for my liking but it is a somewhat sweet noodle dish by nature so it certainly wasn't over the top. Very enjoyable.

Best pork bones soup in the city! It is finger licking good. All their dishes are very good too. Very unassuming place and family oriented. Don't forget to ask for their home made kimchee and potato salad. These side dishes are to die for.

Service is average, like every other KBBQ I've been to in Eastwood. This place easily has the best Bibimbap. Also the best stir fry pork and bulgogi are some of the best I've had. I never eat anything else here because these 3 dishes are so consistently well done. Bonus star for having different flavoured Soju. Blueberry is amazing!
