Always good and worth the drive.
This Burger joint is close to the North Pine Dam. I have driven past it many times on my way to the Dam for a spot of fishing. I decide to give it a try this week at lunchtime and I see a crowd. Great, these locals are voting with their feet!
The capable Manager/Chef manages this food outlet alone. I can see the Burgers and Fish & Chips are popular. I opt for a Burger and the friendly Manager informs me there will be a short wait.
My “Works Burger” at $10.50 looks huge! It comes with a large processed Beef patty, fried egg, bacon, cheese, onions, beetroot, pineapple and salad. The supermarket Bun was a letdown as it crumpled under the ingredients or this meal would have got a perfect score. Overall, an enjoyable meal and I will return to try the recommended fried Cod!
Not sure why this is showing as Albany Creek. It appears Zomato doesn't know where Eatons Hill is? Anyway, this place is good for fish & chips etc and they make great burgers too. Something wrong with their phone which is frustrating but, other than that, I like it.
Love the coffee here! It never comes out that hot though, so don't leave it too long before drinking.
Have tried takeaway fish and chips and was underwhelmed. After hearing good things we went back to try again - unfortunately had the same experience (soggy fish, undercooked and oily chips lacking any crunch at all). Would consider trying once more, just in case!
Great food and very cheap for the proportion they give you the chips are made amazingly
We usually get fish and chips once a week from these guys.
The proce is very reasonable and the service is quick for takout or delivery.
The fish is battered just right and the portions are decent.
I am also a fan of the large potato scallops and Pineapple fritters to top it off for a sweet treat afterwards.
Would recommend for a good local fish a chips.
