Considering their name, it was the slowest fish n chips iv ever waited for. And it wasn't busy. It seemed like they had no idea.... However the food was yummy. Cooked well and fresh.
We ordered nuggets (for kids) and didn't get the amount we payed for... I'm not out to ruin small local businesses so I give 4 stars although because of my overall personal experience I did want to give a 3.
Size isn't what matters, I was pleased with my 20$ fisherman's basket and wasn't left feeling hungry.
To me the service was great!! Service with a definite smile by very genuine people.
I'm not phased by the staffs appearance. They looked clean even if a little dishevelled, this isn't fine dining.
The batter on my fish was light, not doughy, a little oily in parts but that can be the nature of things especially on a warm day sitting outside.
