Pierro was friendly, and food was tasty. It was a bit busy as we went on a Saturday, and the food took a while to come. Lasagne was on the sour side, very tomatoey, not as meaty. Which I have learned is "authentic" š. Quite enjoyable, Miss 3 loved it, and she is quite picky.
Soup of the day was chicken and corn, which we probably wouldn't order again, as we often make a hearty one at home.
Would love to return here and try the wood fire pizzas, which they only serve for dinner on weekends. They have a huge oven behind the counter which looks rather impressive.
Hidden gem, decent wood fire pizza; however the pizzas had too much sauce on them making it a little soggy, the tomato sauce used is on the plain side and the dough could have been more flavourful. Their cannolis are cooked to order and the cream filling was heavenly with the freshly cooked cannoli shell.
wow. what an amazing restaurant. my family and I came here for pizza and were blown away. such a nice, cozy shop with a wood fire oven that produces the best pizza. we had the vegan pizzas ( including the vegan nutella pizza ) and they were fabulous. I loved the vegan fungi pizza, and the vegan cheese they are using tastes great! excellent service and pricing. thanks, Pierross!
Best woodfire pizza in the area and definitely up there with the best places in Melbourne. Staff have always been lovely and welcoming. Make sure you try the 'five cheese'.
One of the best wood fire pizzas I've had in my life! So happy there is a place like this in Eltham. Very authentic , lovely staff , amazing food -Perfecto šš¼!! Will definitely be coming back regularly for more š.
Without a doubt the best pizza you'll find in the area. Been here heaps the pizza and the service has never let us down. My go to pizza is the Diavola. Delicious!! Perfect crust every time. Take a nice red with you and enjoy.

Omg.. best pizza Iāve had in a long time.. the pizza dough was just right, not to salty & not too dry. We had the Pierross & the Diavolo, both great pizzas. The base sauce was perfect, not too rich and of course the toppings were fresh & tasty.. You know youāre gonna get amazing pizzaās when the pizza chef proudly stands in front of the pizza oven welcoming you in with the biggest smile.. Instantly you know your Italian taste buds are going to be looked after. He really made an impression on us, he was genuinely proud of his craft, but not in an arrogant way. We also had a vanilla & chocolate cannoli.. The shell was fresh & crunchy - very hard to find places where the shell isnāt thick & hard as a brick - it needs to be the right thickness so it breaks gently in ur mouth.. The custard was good, maybe a little to air-rated for my likeness, couldāve been a little more denser/thicker, but hey, itās all made on premises, so you canāt get fresher than that.. I still ate it & scraped every bit of the custard from the plate lol.. Also the coffee was great too.. And the service was brilliant, very kind & welcoming staff & attended to all our needs.. So we will definitely be going back & introducing this amazing place to all our friends.. This is seriously a hidden little Italian treasure. We have only recently discovered Pierross and absolutely love it! Their pastries are authentic, our favorite being the Nutella and custard bomboloni.
The pizza is fantastic too, by far the best in the area. The coffee is just like Italy, nice and strong. The staff could not be more welcoming, friendly and helpful. This is a great local place to enjoy some delicious food!
A hidden gem at Eltham Terrace, this place has a welcoming atmosphere with wonderful, authentic food made on premises. On Friday and Saturday nights they do wood fired pizza, Venetian style. Book early. It books out quickly! My beautiful sister in law who is of Italian descent taught me what real pizza and Italian baked goods should be like. She's been around since I was quite young so I am very fussy when it comes to quality and flavours of Italian pastries, cakes and pizzas. Pierros is the only place I have found so far over the years that measure up to excellent standards. Bravo! Staff are wonderful. Nothing, within reason, is too much trouble. Excellent prices and plenty to choose from. It's been one of my favourite go to places for a long time now, and I'm sure it will be for a long time to come.
