Food was remarkable, Risotto and eggs Benny are on point and some of the best I've had. Took a while for our food to come out (30minutes.) Not too expensive. Extremely loud inside at lunch time on a Sunday, combination of loud music, dishwashing and no carpet or tapestry to deaden. Service was ex
Been coming here for years, initially as the Purple Turtle and now renamed. The coffee is very good but if you like it strong might be worth asking for a double shot. Good food in a groovy atmosphere. Also can’t beat the location with a large outdoor area and lots of light and glass.
Quite average really guys. Staff are nice and attentive, coffee is good. The poached eggs were quite undercooked and with a smattering of about 4 spinach leaves (literally) There were also mix ups with the wrong food coming to our table about 4 times in 45 minutes. The ginja ninja was a good bloke.
Nice little cafe with friendly and attentive staff and good food and Coffee. I've been here a few times and found it pleasant without being mind blowing. Food is priced on par with other cafes in the area and is tasty, with a wide range of vegetarian, gluten-free and a few vegan options too. Would r
Absolutely fantastic experience at a girl called Jane. I had the Brule French toast, it was scrumptious. Beautiful relaxing setting and welcoming staff. The coffee is shear bliss. The new head cheft had put some exciting new dishes on the menu i can wait to try. will definitely be going back to try
Not your average cafe, great coffee and food. For how many people had already ordered before us, I was surprised we got our breakfast fairly fast and it was delicious and presented beautifully.
Only got takeaway coffee twice, as I usually get my own, make at home, or only get others if I am desperate, or confident and prepared to throw them out if no good...Which I do often...Both great and easily the best coffee in Elwood I have had. Nice work.
Good coffee, good service, we arrived at a good time as it had been very busy. The staff were friendly and helpful despite a very busy morning. The Reuben, Avo Smash and Calamari salad went down quite well.
