Wow! What a gem this place is. We have been looking for a great cafe and we have finally found it. We were welcomed when we walked in the door, the decor is beautiful, the atmosphere is perfect, coffee and food are the best we've had in a while and you said goodbye as we were leaving, couldn't ask for better. Well done on creating such a great place to go, we will be regulars. Thank you. ��

This has to be the best thing ever to happen in our area, i am so excited as i have been driving past this shop everyday for the past 30 yrs and only to see a dull Milk Bar, but a few months ago when i started noticing the transformation my daily drive passes have been of excitement and can not wait for the open day (my kids are getting pretty sick of me talking about it). Wishing Grounded Grocer & Cafe all the best and success as i am all for supporting local business.

This is the best that it gets in EHills area. Cafe quality as you would find inner city but out in the burbs. The food is great but what I love most about here is the V I B E!
As you enter the sunlit space with chill tunes, you feel like you've stepped foot into your friend's place.
Staff are always ready to greet you with a warm smile, food options are great. My absolute fave is the fried chicken burger.. SO good.
Dessert options, pastry and coffees are also 👌
First time at this cafe ordered a green juice and a latte with 2 grounded breakfast , took a while to come out but they were quite busy . There was a system glitch with there ordering system upon realising us offed our meals free on the house which was a bonus as we were quite hungry by this point . Definatley reccomend great food and customer service is high priority for them . Hidden little gem .
Such an incredible hidden gem with great food and service... the range of stuff to take home with you is also amazing. Best of all the staff are the absolute best.

The modern and clean interior of this cafe is quite pleasing. We got here Saturday morning just after 9am and people just kept rolling in. It got quiet busy. The nutella waffles were very yummy and provided for a good sugar hit early morning. You do get plenty of nutella on your waffles. We also thought to try something different and went with the Smak special which did mention that it was spiced but neither of us expected it to be as hot as it was. We couldn't finish the meal. It was also predominantly comprised of potato chips making the meal quite carb-intensive. We did bring up the spicy levels with staff when paying up who said we should have said something and they could have added yoghurt to bring the spiciness under control. Probably wouldn't go with the dish even with yoghurt but we did appreciate the gesture. Staff were well-manner and polite. Not a bad place to chill over brunch for the locals.

Another cafe remake of a milk bar. These are quickly taking over the Melbourne cafe scene. Its actually quite a shock when you use to go to the milk bar and its now a cafe. The fitout looks cool trendy and on point. The menu had some interesting dishes. Ordered something basic at this time. Dish wasn't what I thought it was but still thought it was pretty yum
I’m a regular & a local, this cafe has by far the best coffee in the area. I’ve sampled most of the menu & loved every dish. The chefs are very committed to using local ingredients & producing great & fresh food. Also, the staff are super friendly & always up for a chat. There is a reason I’M A REGULAR!

I've gone a handful of times and tried a number of things off their menu. Overall the consistency of good service and food quality have been great. Favourites off the menu are - poached eggs with smashed avo, feta adding tahnini and falafels with chickpea salad. I usually also order either a Lactose free latte or soy prana chai latte which have never disappointed. This was my local milkbar growing up and its great to see how the space has been converted. I think it's also safe to say its a fantastic local cafe with good coffee something that is definitely lacking in the area so it's been great to have a local cafe in the area now
Went to grounded this morning for brunch and was very impressed. It has beautiful decor and the staff are fantastic, the only downside seems to be a lack of seating.
I ordered the falafels salad with a side of halloumi cheese! The salad was so fresh and delicious and the falafels were flavoursome and not dry at all. The cheese was cooked perfectly. The tea drop soy chai to accompany was also fantastic!
