I've grabbed takeaway from here a few times and I think it's great! I've had the lamb box, chicken box and a lamb wrap. I think the boxes are quite generous and plenty for one person ($18). The lamb was tender and juicy. I also liked the chicken box but found the chicken a bit dry in comparison to the lamb. Would love to dine in sometime soon and try other dishes on the menu.

This food jumped up a level. Such intense flavours in probably the sauce on the tender chicken and roasted cauliflower and even the salad. The pomegranate molasses must have been the secret to the ladies fingers' taste. It does seem expensive, or at least you don't get as much as the lavish plates at some Lebanese places, but this is a taste explosion that I've never seen before.

Came by two weeks ago on a thurs night at 8. Kind of in the middle of suburbia nowhere but thats cool and part the charm. We ordered garlic hummus, chicken shawarama, fried eggplant w side of pita bread (between 2 pp). EVERYTHING WAS 100% DELISH*chefs kiss*. The workers are chill as and very patient as we spent ages deciding from the fat menu. Came down to a 57 bill and two full and happy bellies. Have been recommending this place to everyone and anyone since. I’ll be back soon you can bet on that 🤝

wow the food here is amazing! i was quite blown away especially being of Middle Eastern descent so there were a lot of expectations to meet, but Emma’s Snack Bar pulled it off! I will say some of their dishes are probably a bit too pricy for what they offer, but everything tasted amazing. The service wasn’t necessarily the best though the waitors kept bringing us the wrong food and were mixing up the orders, and we had to wait quite a bit for some of the foods. Overall though I definitely recommend coming here!

Emma’s is great, great food, friendly staff in a cool little setting but it gets damn noisy and human nature means some people react by yelling over each other. That being the case, the food makes up for it. Delicious

Amazing flavour bomb! Lebanese food at its finest !!! We had the pleasure of sitting at the bar, (no booking) worked to our favour as we got to see the hard work in the kitchen. Let me say it pays off the food was fresh, almost felt prepped at home in the kitchen for the table (I find this is rare) we ordered tabbouli eggplant dip, kibbe, special chicken to share !!! all the food looked good but this was all we could stomach and left so satisfied !

Great little restaurant in Enmore if you’re looking for a chill, casual dinner vibe. Most of the dishes are designed to share which is so good as you can try multiple dishes. The food is really flavorful. Must try the pumpkin hummus - to die for. It can get pretty loud inside though due to the small space.

One of my favourite finds in Sydney! Tucked away on a very small residential street is this buzzing eatery, after trying the food I can see why it gets so busy and they had to turn people down without bookings! The stand out dishes are:
moorish chicken wrap
One of the specialities here, this chicken wrap is packed full of flavour. The chicken is marinated in gorgeous herbs and yoghurt, and cooked until it’s nice and juicy. It was such a moorish dish, I only wished I had a whole one to myself!

Pumpkin hummous
I absolutely love eating chickpea hummous dip, but coming this with smashed pumpkin just elevates it x10! I would highly recommend the pumpkin hummous and ordering it with a basket of flat bread.
I would Highly recommend trying this place!

Walked in and the vibe was 5/5 music playing and super busy. Food was also really good 5/5, I could not fault any of the dishes other than as a whole the garlic sauce (like a watered down toum) was on every dish which was a lot of garlic for me and I love garlic! Highlights were the kafta which were quality lamb perfectly cooked and juicy, chicken was crispy but moist and the brussel sprouts with a balsamic reduction are up with some of the best I've had. Will definitely be back.

Emma’s Snack Bar is amazing. Great food, great atmosphere and great service. The food is a combination of traditional Lebanese with some contemporary touch. You have to try the spicy hummus, lady’s fingers and kibe… reasonably priced and excellent quality… what else could you want?

Emma’s Snack Bar is a restaurant that’s long been on our list to visit and finally went to. It’s a popular Lebanese eatery in Enmore/Stanmore not far from Newtown’s main strip. An inconspicuous corner frontage, but the Emma’s snack bar sign is on the middle of the door. When you enter, it reminds us of an old school milk bar, and the fit out is rustic with a large communal tables, bar seats and smaller tables. Service is friendly and helpful, starting us off with a few drinks while we peruse the menu. The menu is traditional and more modern Lebanese fare with the likes of kibbeh, fattoush, felafel, dips and more. It’s a good place for sharing and you can also opt for a banquet if you’d prefer not to have decide. We shared a range of dishes with the fam including: fried cauliflower (lightly fried and served with a tangy tahini sauce and parsley) fattoush (traditional tangy peasant salad topped with fried bread) and ladies fingers - three filo pastry rolls filled with lamb, pine nuts and pomegranate molasses. Another great option was the crispy hand cut potato cubes fried and smothered with garlic paste and fresh coriander. For the protein we had the moorish chicken; sitting in a Lebanese bread and marinated in tangy spices and topped with shaved red onion. Our favourite was the eggplant - Oven roasted, crispy shell and soft interior with garlic, tomato & lebanese spices. The food was delicious and certainly worth a visit.

Wow this place was absolutely amazing - probably the best meal I’ve had during Sydney’s covid lockdown. We had the lamb and chicken TV dinner box. Let me start with the meat both the lamb and chicken was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Dip it in the delicious garlic and hummus and you got heaven in your mouth. Probably the best component of them all is the delicious potato pieces, not sure how they’re cooked or seasoned but the best potatoes I’ve had in a long time. To cut the grease you’ve got some amazing salad and Lebanese bread to enjoy on the side as well. I will definitely be coming back for a sit down meal when covid is done - well done Emma’s snack bar!

What a great place to rejoin Sydney's resturant scene after such a long lockdown! Food is just fab, so fresh and tasty. Staff are friendly but not invasive and all reasonably priced. No room for dessert this time so have to go back soon!

Great vibe, food & service. Byo wine or order from the bar. Arak prawns and cheese balls our two favourite picks. Love coming to Emma's.

We had long wanted to try Emma’s snack bar and decided to pick up dinner as we are locals in the area and are currently in lockdown. We ordered the banquet for 2 ($52pp) and it is a huge amount of food. There are a number of dips and a fattoush but sadly no tabouli. There is also falafel and lady fingers which were amazing. The mains are lamb skewers and chicken which were perfect. Would’ve been great if there was less food and they added a dessert like a baklava to end on a sweet note but otherwise no complaints.
