Best Thai food in the area. The restaurant provides an elegant atmosphere and is a nice place to meet friends for dinner. Fortunately, they deliver for those occasions when you want to stay in.

Personally, a huge fan of Thai food. Price isn't expensive in comparison to it's impressive quality. Great food, looking forward to go again. Make sure to reserve seats though - just in case it gets crowded👍🏻

What a find!!!!

We arrived and there was a group of six, we left and the tables were nearly full. In the time we sat, many take away orders were taken. An indication of the popularity of the place.

The food was also UNIQUE. At Thai many times, they added something special. The staples were enhanced with eggplant and flavours that seemed new and exotic.

The curry was awesome, the chef special and daily special seafood ocean paradise was a return item.

Great service and atmosphere.

Always went to the place next door (Pho Sam) with my parents on Sundays in the past, but never once tried the place next door which was Pent Thai, until many years later. Decided one day to try it with a friend, and to be honest, I think I consider myself fortunate finding a decent thai place locally.

Ordered the staple chicken pad thai, and it delivered on the quality and price of $12. The atmosphere was very cosy and quiet, loved the volume of the restaurant. Definitely a great place for chatting over some fine wine too! Service was average, the usual. Would I go again? I've been twice. You figure!

Pent-Thai has been around for many, many years. Yet it has managed to survive and thrive. To be honest, I haven't been here for a very long time. When my friends suggested we catch up for dinner and suggested Pent-Thai, I thought why not visit an old food haunt? I think the restaurant seats up to 25 people and it was fully packed when I got there at 7.30pm on a Friday night. We were so hungry we decided to ask for all the dishes to arrive at the same time, i.e. entrees and mains served together. Tod Mun Pla (Thai fish cakes) - an absolute Thai staple. Finely minced fillet of fish blended with chilli paste, and Thai herbs which are then fried. Served with sweet chilli sauce (Thai style), cucumber and topped with crushed peanut. Yum! There were very authentic flavours to the fish cake. Bird nest spring roll (chef's special) - fried mini spring rolls filled with a mixture of crab, prawn and black mushrooms. Served with sweet chilli sauce and a side of garden salad. We chose this dish beca

Pent Thai has been at Epping for several years now. I haven't been here very often despite its proximity because I always went to West Ryde instead. We were feeling lazy but hungry so we decided to try Pent Thai.  From the outside it looks quite fancy. The Man was wearing his trackies so he was reluctant to go inside. The atmosphere inside, however, is cozy and the dim lighting makes sure that you're focused on your food and your friends. They also do free deliver for orders over $30 so I know where I'll be ordering from next ;) Chef's specials. The Man got the Crying BBQ pork (funny name) and I got a traditional pad siew with tofu. Very nice interior. Simple, but elegant. Pad siew. It was extremely sweet. The noodles were nice and greasy, not sticking to each other, and the there were enough vegetables in there for some fun chewing times.  The tofu was soft and silky, not those hard cheesy ones that other places normally use. The Man's dish certainly was the victor of the night. The t

Brilliant. I hadn't been back for a while and gods only knows why as the last visit was great. Went back last night for my daughters 12th Birthday and the waitresses could not have been more attentative and professional, the food was amazing. We all shared a variety of dishes all very good but the Roasted Red Duck Curry and Fig Lamb stood head and shoulders above these. Absolutely magnificient!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't go anywhere else for Thai in Epping.

WOW. This place is amazing. The food is reasonably prices (it is thai food after all!) and the service is amazing. I can honestly say that I've been here dozens of times and I've never walked away disappointed! A must if you are in the area and looking for good thai!

Best Thai in Sydney. It's greatest strength are many original and amazing dishes ranging from entries, fried dumplings to my personal favorite, the grills (they are out of this world)! It's only a few meters walk from the station (the side facing the street)

Yummy food, great value Banquet $30/head and BYO small corkage. Been there many times over the years can recommend the macadamia prawns if the banquet doesn't work.

Pent-thai is a little hole in the wall. It's a bit like dining in a cave, the plaster walls are covered with some quite impressive traditional pieces and to top the atmosphere off they'll often play relaxing jazz music (?). The food is eerily reliable and never disappoints. Get the pad peanut.
