Chicken was moist, full of flavours! Rice cake was bomb!! Manager was really friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back again!

Finally a local Korean restaurant! I love Korean dishes but just cannot make the effort to go to the CBD to eat Korean! Thank you Epping and Highpointđđ Absolutely in love with everything Iâve tried thus far! Always so busy at Gami! Best to make a reservation if going there for dinner! Must try their potato heaven, best to share! Pricy but when you order for two and share the plates, you will be full and satisfied! Great if you are craving korean and live locally đđœ
Gami is always great! Can not fault it! We went for dinner & we were told we had to get out by 7 (it was 5.30) as they had reservations. Which is plenty of time for us to eat. As soon as we sat down & started looking at the menu they were over quite fast to take our order. We got the potato heaven, Mandu, boneless chicken with sweet chilli & original with honey mustard sauce and vegetarian chicken. I was very impressed with the lady who served us as she remembered all of it without even writing it down! Sure enough within 10 minutes our food started to come out. The potato heaven is a must when you come to gami. It is delicious and is it says in the name âheavenlyâ. The chicken is probably the best chicken ever. So succulent & so many different flavours to choose from. You canât go wrong. The vegetarian chicken was surprisingly nice too. My vegetarian friend send it was probably the nicest vegetarian chicken she has ever had!
So i ordered the 12 wings (2flavours) korean fried chick from Gami through UberEats. And i have to say it is one of the most amazing fried chicken i have had in Melbourne until now. I loved how it was not only good looking but also tasted good, even when it was delivered home. Perfectly crispy on the outside and soft+nicely cooked on the inside.
I also got a portion of coleslaw on the side, which i did not like, as it was dry and just topped with tomato sauce. But the main ingredient, the chicken wings were amazing.
Would come back to try more things from the menu.
The best fried chicken hands down in Epping and the surrounding suburbs. Chicken is always fresh tasting and the sides are also awesome. In particular potato heaven. Staff are very friendly and the toilets are always clean. Overall a great place to either sit in or takeaway.
The fried sweet chilli chicken was really good, crunchy, sweet, spicy with good texture. We also ordered patatoe chips and a salad and both were amazing, the chips were coated in a batter and was served hot and crunchy. The salad was topped with apple dressing and was delicious. An overall good place to eat in the North.

More like 3.5 stars...heres why, generally a huge fan of Gami in the city and was excited one was literally a few suburbs away. The ambience is more fresh and open like a modern café compared to its city branches, staff generally pleasant and well meaning but I feel need to be more alert at times. Fried chicken was good, but not better than the city, I am probably just nit picking but just my honest review, also must add they shouldn't really count a neck as a 'piece' of chicken. I prefer getting the wings. Original is good but my favourite sweet soy needs to be punchier with the garlic and found it was a bit lackluster with overall flavours. What I found off putting though were the state of the toilets, very grubby and looked like it hadn't had a proper mop in a while, the female toilets were quite neglected having broken toilet roll holders and one of the 2 stalls having a broken lock, there was an overflowing bin of paper towels cascading all over the floor which meant there was no upkeep, and was told the male toilets were far worse, for an establishment that requires you to use your hands to eat this environment was unacceptably unhygienic, could probably suggest doors that automatically open or wipes like KFC, even Nene seem to have a better fried chicken aftercare system in place for its customers with gloves and wipes. Other than that theres no other Korean fried chicken or fried chicken in general in the area so i'll still return, still pretty good despite my little complaints, I'll just bring my own antibacterial wipes next time.
Impressed with the online booking system. Really easy to use. We ran a little late due to traffic but received a polite call from the restaurant to check if we were ok. Attentive service from the start. I had a lovely mild Korean ale, which when coupled with the signature chicken, was a delightful match. We ordered a half chicken (original with spicy sauce on the side), 8 wings; 4 with soy garlic and 4 with sweet chilli, plus a salad and chips. The chicken itself was crunchy and juicy, and the sauces were great. I liked the soy garlic sauce, and enjoyed the sides of coleslaw and the little banchans that accompanied. Overall, it was a pleasant dinner experience. Well done.

The chicken was super duper tender and the half chicken is more than enough for two people.
We decided to get it coated in the sauce and paid extra for some on the side. Iâd recommend people to get the sauce coated on the chicken because I think the chicken will be dry if itâs not coasted in the sauce. The soy garlic was average, the sweet chilli was average but mixed together it made a really nice flavour combination.
The potato Royale was the perfect side with lots of soft potatoes, chilli and sour cream.
Itâs not the best Korean fried chicken that Iâve had but it was very good for something close by.
New Gami shop in Epping! Tried their spicy rice cake, chicken wing and corn cheese! I am a corn cheese lover! They always made it so well. Succeeded my craving! I will definitely come back again.
Very tasty food, Love the dumplings they were superb. Also I had the spicy burger, delicious. It was a very clean place and has very friendly service. Reasonably priced too. They have takeaway as well. Recommend.
The food was good. Had the original flavour fried chicken that had a KFC type taste to it though I preferred this flavour. Service was good ie the food came at a reasonable pace after ordering via a QR code from the table. You can manage your orders and the pace you want to order them in. Place was clean. Overall good dining experience.

Food was amazing as it always is at Gami. However staff arenât very welcoming nor interactive with the new ordering system. Asked for a menu as my partners phone doesnât QR read & upon receiving one, was reminded that online ordering is preferred. Wanted to order some chips to add on as we forgot but couldnât be bothered going through the whole process again so didnât bother.
Yummy food. Wait a little bit longer due to too many Uber eats order. Didnât notice there is onion on every vegetarian food (as I am a vegetarian). So have to be extra notice as their dumplings are pre-made with onion insides.
