Ok… bravo chef! 👏🏽 I had the pork belly main, and it was INSANELY DELICIOUS! Cooked to perfection 👏🏽 And all the accompaniments were wonderful and cooked perfectly too, great temperature etc.
After days of slowly crossing the Nullarbor and even a spot of camping in SA (from Melbourne) etc, we checked into the hospitality Esperance and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of meals served here at Seasons! My husband had the burger and loved it, and again the pork belly was divine. The server told us the chef was solo in the kitchen, but you wouldn’t tell as the food did not appear rushed at all.
Drinks were so affordable too - we had a glass of wine and a G&T and couldn’t believe the price!
This is our first time to Esperance and honestly, usually I research things to find great food spots (lol, it’s the Melbourne in me), but I can’t thank the Chef enough for a great meal and glad we came!
We also had continental breakfast included with our stay. Good selections, and my husband LOVED the pancake machine!
There’s lots to say that’s great about this unpretentious little hotel….a wonderful outlook of the foreshore, great position near the centre of town, comfy beds, good breakfasts and a good restaurant overall, but really the staff make the difference. Friendly, helpful, efficient….just great folk! My wife and I arrived as long distance bicycle tourists and due to a luggage malfunction in the last 30 km from Gibson, I lost my bike radar unit about 10 km out of town. After looking around the Esplanade, I mentioned the loss to the hotel reception and they had seen something on Facebook. Long story short, 24 hrs later a Good Samaritan named Shannon, who was a local boilermaker, brought my bike radar to the hotel door. What a legend seeing it cost $350 but was worth its weight in gold for our road safety, but also how switched on were the hotel staff!! They had their minds on the job and made the connections to contact Shannon!!! All legends! Staff like this are also worth their weight in gold!!!!
Dinner last night when Pier Hotel was booked out. 2x steaks cooked to perfection by the apprentice. Give him/her a pay rise, they were delicious as was the sauce. My only criticism would be half the lettuce on the salad and maybe some cherry tomatoes, celery, cucumber, red onion to make the salad pop a bit more, but other than that, Seasons will be my go to place for dinner when I'm in town. Cheers guys👍
