My favourite bakery with Banh Mi rolls. Their selection of cupcakes and danishes are worth a try, too.
This place is just down the road from me, and had read reviews praising their Banh Mi rolls. Had the very reasonably priced barbecue pork roll with soy and chilli sauce - delicious! Pork was lean and nicely marinaded, and the pickled veg added a nice crunch. The chilli and soy added balance, and just a nice hum after every bite. All contained in a roll that was neither hard nor soft, but the perfect vehicle. I'm officially hooked, and I haven't even tried the pies yet!
Around the corner from Burger Time, we have this handy Vietnamese Bakery. I visit to buy my lunch as I will be fishing at the North Pine Dam. The friendly Owner informs me of their varieties of Banh Mi and I decide on a Traditional Banh Mi with sliced Pork, Pate, Coriander and pickled Carrots. I also ask for a Chunky Beef Pie.
I have my lunch at the Dam 90 min later and I enjoy my cold “picnic meal”. Thank you guys!
We were recently having breakfast & were looking for bread rolls. When the other half saw the banh mi that was it, rolls were forgotten & a filled banh mi of pork was his order of the day. He seemed to be happier with that than his breakfast, said it was super fresh & flavors bang on. They also had cakes & sweets on display but I passed up on those as I had bought some at the other bakery

Was one of the best banh mi I've ever had, so full of flavour and not at all dry.
The roll was perfect as well, not too crispy not too soft.
Husband and I pop in once a week for banh mi dinner!
Always delish and fresh even at 6pm. The salad bowls are perfect for work and a great price.

Absolutely gorgeous meat pies, nice gravy and thick pastry, generous serve for a big bloke. Also purchased a custard danish which was huge, lovely fresh pastry made with love. Highly recommended.

Great local bakery, have given this a score of 4 purely for their Vietnamese banh mi rolls. I no longer need to venture out to Inala for banh mi as this bakery is nice and close to me and taste pretty good.
They have five fillings to choose from - Steamed Pork, BBQ Pork, roasted Pork, meatballs and Lemongrass chicken. Steamed pork, which is the traditional fillings in Vietnamese banh mi is my favourite. They don't look all that appetizing in the display cabinet all wrapped in cling wrap and chilled however ask them to have them toasted (makes a huge difference) and if you like a bit of heat ask for chilli and/or soy sauce to be added - no extra cost. The fillings are generous, the steamed pork has nice balance of fat and meat. Packed with coriander, pickled carrot and spring onion the rolls taste very fresh.
The meatballs banh mi are very good also, they use the Nem Nuong balls which are traditional Vietnamese grilled pork sausages.
The chicken lemongrass were my least favourite, the flavours of the chicken didn't really do it for me and were lacking in comparison to the pork and meatball. All the pies and pastries look pretty good too, but this would be my to to place for banh mi as its so close. Love it!
In the finest tradition of Vietnamese bakers. Best croissants. Big range and friendly service every day of the year except Christmas Day from 5:30 in the morning hail, train or shine!
Honestly, the best Bahn mi in this area. I recommend to EVERYONE. Also they always ask if you would like it toasted so why complain on google reviews that it was wrapped in plastic? It’s there for all to see?Another option is to toast it yourself at home. Not that hard.Jeez.

Banh mi was good, nice crispy baguette. Vegetables could be more finely diced and meat texture was very firm, but overall taste was good.

Absolutely fantastic bakery, one of the best in this area! Their vermicelli salads are amazing, and their Bahn mi are super delicious! Not only that but all their baked goods are amazing.
Delicious! Came without chilli and soy but the lovely Lady asked if we would like it and added it as requested. Very filling and only $7♡ Will be back! Giant vanilla slice too for those with a sweet tooth! Messy eating but so worth it 😁
