Decide to stop here for lunch… pretty late so maybe not much of a choice for lunch.
We had honey garlic wings and some hot chips. The wings are fantastic! Would be nice if we could get a pizza - not available online as we scanned and ordered online. I guess best is to order at the counter. Muffins looks delicious too. Would be a nice place for a break. Coffee or a beer for most.
The kids meals are as big as the adult serves! The burgers were quite possibly the best I've ever tasted!!

They also have portable phone chargers to use if your phone goes flat (like mine did lol!)
OMG!!! The food is exceptional. Very tasty and well prepared. And the brownie… so yummm!! They have the best chef in town. I highly recommend this place.
Wow highly impressed with the food the burgers were amazing I have to say the beef patty in that bun was the best I have ever had the flavour was to die for smoky but not too smoky just fine and the mac sauce ooooooo yer it was killa I'm about to say it yes it was the best burger I have had we be back the GRUBER family
Fantastic place up the top of Falls Creek. Friendly helpful staff, great atmosphere, nice pot belly fire stoves and tables outside.
Meals we had were very delicious and served quite quickly given it was pretty well booked out.
Good range of drinks and food on the menu.
Best part is walking back to the chalet is downhill

Hygiene practises seriously lacking - we watched the chip guy touch his nose, scratch his head, eat a couple of chips from the chip bowl, then scoop with his bare hands food directly onto serving plates and then wipe the grease onto his pants, repeat about 3 times over. Zero sanitiser etc.
I’m sure he’s a top bloke amongst the waitstaff but the hygiene behaviours are way out of whack.
Customer service was amazing and ordering was made easy by a QR code at the table. Meals and drinks were delicious. The view of the snow was angelic and inside there were 2 pool tables and a foosball table. The lay out made the inn very practical and offered a warm and welcoming environment. Would definitely recommend.

Food was fantastic, and really good value!
I had the lamb shoulder which was delicious, and a really good portion size, while my partner had the half chicken which was also very tasty. The bits that came with the mains (slaw, kimchi, apple mint vinaigrette, and a green burger bun in place of tortilla chips) weren’t great, but the meat was very good.
The bush fries were tasty with the fried salt bush on top, however could have been a bit more fresh/hot. Cocktails were okay, wouldn’t say they were worth the money though.
Ambience was lovely with the fairy lights on the roof and multiple levels.
Overall a good meal and fantastic value!
