I have been meaning to come here for ages and finally made it! beautiful place, tour was interesting and informative, the sculptures and garden is gorgeous and the pool/dam area is unbelievable; especially when you think about the amount of work that he would have put into it!
House/gallery itself is interesting and lovely and staff are so friendly and helpful.
Cafe had some great food and friendly staff too :)
Absolutely marvellous collection, and the quality of his little-known "relaxation" of model ship-building is stunning! A most enjoyable three hours spent wandering around the estate and the Gallery; and a very pleasant meal at the Café to top it all off. Well worth the visit.
This place is awesome
The coffees good but, my people, the brunch options are mint.
The apple pie pancake on the current winter menu is the bomb, and the fritters were delicious. Good serving sizes and value for money.
That being said I did a weird thing a strayed into the lunch menu as well. Shock I know!
The soup ladies and gentlemen. Oh the soup. Like how your Mama used to make it, only 100x better.
Great atmosphere. Beautiful verandah seating. And the gardens next door were a nice addition for a post feast stroll.
The food was quite nice. It's 35°c and we sat outside with the dog. We didn't feel like to eat much, so only ordered French toast to share. It came out nicely, got bacons, caramel bananas, blackberries, hazelnuts, and cream on top of the toasts. Well done. Manu is slightly pricey but reasonable. Will go back again for special events.
Take a stroll around the historic Norman Lindsay's country estate and gallery to increase your appetite before visiting this delightful café. If you're familiar with Mr Lindsay's work, it might be more than just the exercise that gets your heart racing.Lindsay's Café has so much going for it - beautiful grounds, friendly service, lots of seating. The food is good, there are many breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea options but save room for dessert. The cakes and gelato are not to be missed.
Great !!. Great fresh food .
Must go too if you're near the blue mountains
Food and services-wise...If you are ever in the area, you must come here. Amazing food, good service and fascinating interior made from scraps. Although food can be a bit slow as it is usually packed at night. We waited for about 20 mins to get a seat and 30 mins for the food. It was worth the wait.
Good food and service, pie was great ! Coffee awesome.
Service can be variable but the food is fantastic so very worth it. Breakfast is great!
It was a busy day and the staff were warm and friendly. The chef made sure there was a non-spicy version of chicken for the kids. My brisket went well with the kale salad, pumpkin purée, and parsnip crisps.
Had yummy scones and coffee here this afternoon. However what really impressed me was the staff. They were enjoying themselves as they worked and that makes me think that owners/managers make it a great place to work. This means the customers of the cafe will always be happy and well looked after as well. Great job!
What a delightful cafe, lovely owner and staff. We only dropped in for coffee and the scones with REAL cream were very good. Next time will go for a meal!
When travelling it's not often we come upon a really good restaurant, but this one was excellent.
The food was fantastic not a massive selection but no matter what you choose the food is good with a good coffee to go with it. It’s a nice little cafe with a great view of the bush land surrounding it. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing morning or evening
Location and serenity of this place is gorgeous. Coffee is beautiful. Great hidden blue mountain gem.
Enjoyed another great meal at Lindsays last week. The staff are so helpful and friendly and the food is healthy fresh and yummy. Love that the cafe is dog friendly and I can take my pup there after a weekend walk.
You must order the Potato Bravis..and the cocktails are really really good too!
