Had the most beautiful lunch at Cormorant Bay Cafe with my Mum for her 80th Birthday. 5 star venue, 5 star setting (with the most gorgeous 'to die for' view), 5 star meal, 5 star staff & service, an all round 5 star day. Thank you :)
Had the high tea with a group of friends for my mother’s birthday. Beautiful arrangement set up on the balcony over looking the damn, lovely wait staff and delicious food! And for such a great price. Will definitely be returning!
Truly calming place after every day hustle and bustle!!! Nice atmosphere, good hearty good, pleasant service and did I mention the surroundings... absolutely breathtaking, mesmerising and soul soothing. Dreaming to go back there soon for more.

Came here to take the kids to the park and have a picnic and noticed the Cafe was open.
Fantastic little gem.
Had a coffee with the Mum in law and kids. Seated on the balcony, a beautiful breeze and an amazing view..what else could you want.
The service was great, nice and friendly.

Great food, okay coffee but the views are the winner here. Right on Lake Wivenhoe with an elevated, breezy balcony. My suggestion for hammocks or day beds is apparently quite common. Spillway and dam wall just up the road. Great park area, playground.and amenities. Plenty of parking, shade, picnic tables, BBQs. Friendly and engaging staff made our morning tea stop very pleasant.

What a lovely place with spectacular views across the lake, plenty of outdoor seating available on the balcony areas. The staff were lovely and friendly, service was quick and the food was delicious. The items we selected were reasonably priced. Overall we were very happy with the whole venue.
This restaurant/cafe is absolutely awesome! The views of course are stunning, and the food accompanied it beautifully. The meal sizes are generous and tasted equally amazing. Cannot wait to have lunch here again. The drive up was really pleasant and we sat by the water afterwards while our food settled. Definitely worth it!
