We have really enjoyed our stay on Fitzroy Island. This is the first time we’ve been here and are really impressed by the helpful staff and great amenities. We have an Ocean View Room which is spacious and perfect for a couple. Plenty on offer at the buffet breakfast and great feeds at Foxy’s. Staff at Foxy’s I couldn’t praise high enough. Service was fantastic and very helpful. Love the place and would come back.
WoW! Fitzroy Island Resort is the PERFECT getaway! Right when you land you get a warm welcome from Jen and the front desk staff are super friendly. I booked the Ocean Suite Room and the view was outstanding! You get to see the ocean waves crash and you have a full range of beautiful tropical plants and palm trees. At night it was heaven because you could hear the sound of the ocean waves from your room!!! The pool was great for relaxing and everything is easy access. I highly recommend doing the Turtle Rehab Centre Tour. I learned so much from Jen and it really raised my awareness about what the Sea Turtles. They are really do great things for them! Even the ferry staff are very helpful and kind. If you are staying in Cairns you DEFINITELY need to make a trip here and stay for a few nights! I enjoyed my time there and cannot wait to go back :)

We are Cairns locals who hadn't visited until last weekend. We were told by locals that the resort accommodation wasn't great. The accommodation was GREAT. Large spacious top floor apartment with balcony and views. Fans and air conditioning, proper kitchen with dishwasher and big fridge, washing machine & dryer, separate bedroom with king bed and doors to balcony. We were told by locals that the snorkelling wasnt great. Snorkelling was GREAT. Despite high tides and semi-overcast conditions, we snorkelled straight off the front beach to see masses of beautiful fish and colourful coral bombies. Can't wait to see the offshore reef at lower tide times and in better weather conditions. The natural environment on the island is spectacular. Awesome sunsets. In fact, it's the best tropical island I've been too. Lovely walks through lush rainforest right down to pristine, palm tree shaded coral beaches. Nice restaurants overlooking the sea - great food and sensational service and not expensive. Would highly recommend as an affordable getaway for couples or families. We will definitely be going back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
