A beautiful wine bar in the heart of Fitzroy, Little Odessa is a gorgeous place. An understated and elegant decor is intimate and inviting, and there is a cosy ambience. The staff here are fantastic, and nothing is too much trouble.
I have only been here for a few glasses of fabulous wine. The drinks list is quite good, and it's a very pleasant place for a relaxing drink. The food menu also sounds fantastic, and it's definitely on my list of places to return to for dinner. The perfect venue for a lovely date night or a fun get together with friends; Little Odessa is all class.
Quirky, unique and the epitome of genuine hospitality. This family-run bar remains a favourite for me (especially due to the dream wine list).

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. I was on my way to the Rochey when I passed by this unassuming little place just off Brunswick, and realised it's one I've been meaning to check out for ages. One call to my friend and we'd cancelled our earlier lunch plans to embrace the ploughman's lunch here, a veritable feast plus drink for the Soviet Union price of just $25. Borscht was served up first, and was delicious. It wasn't the best I've had, but it tasted fresh and healthy. Next up was the ploughman's platter, which was deceptively filling. Potato salad (creamy and with dill), bread with a delicious cream cheese spread, cheese and of course pickles made up our lunch which was devoured enthusiastically. All parts of the meal were tasty and felt authentic. There's a nebiolo on the wine list that I'd highly recommend. It's served cold and is incredibly light - the perfect accompaniment to a wonderful lunch. Service was divine. I wouldn't hesitate to return to try the a la carte menu. Thanks for a wonderful experience!
