I love a great whisky bar, and The Elysian in Fitzroy is fabulous. A small and intimate bar with elegant decor and a wall lined with whiskies of all types; it's definitely a haven for lovers of this spirit.
The drinks list is really good, and the cocktails are amazing. I enjoyed a Milo espresso martini which was a cool spin on the classic and absolutely delicious. Staff are friendly and attentive, and more than happy to offer up suggestions. It gets quite busy here, so it's clear I'm not the only one who enjoys this cool bar. The Elysian is a great place for intimate dates or group gatherings, and it's classy but welcoming vibe makes it very attractive for lovers of good whisky.
