Absolutely sensational! Today we had a beautiful lunch at the Boulevard. Service was impeccable from the second we walked in, but never overbearing. The steak sandwich was bloody beautiful; perfectly cooked fillet steak on a gorgeous brioche bun served with smashing chips! Best I've had in Perth. The sundae on the Local Lunch menu would have to be the highlight though. Never had such a party of flavours in my mouth! Delicious vanilla bean ice cream, fresh seasonal berries topped with the most amazing crumbly, toffee crunchy nuts and mini donuts disguised as waffles. I can't rave about it enough, honestly. Can't wait to come back! Thanks guys
The husband and I decided to check this out for dinner after driving past every single week. Staff were lovely and very attentive, good music playing and holy moly the portion sizes of the food were HUGE! Well priced too. One of the best espresso martini’s I’ve had. Will be back for sure.
Had a fantastic time, service excellent. We had the best time, the venue was fabulous. We had guests from Down South, Ellenbrook. Everyone was very impressed, loved the vibe, decor, service, a shout out to Alice!!!! great service. The food was good, those crumbed tiger prawns, yummy!!! We are talking about another function.
The venue is beautiful and staff and the food was really great. The only issue is it’s a hard place to find as it’s tucked away. Some more signs from the car park to the venue would help.
Great Hotel - Very friendly, relaxed staff. Great food - I had the Beef & Bacon Burger - as good as any in Perth.
I had a good time at the Floreat Hotel 2 weekends back ,, the staff was so friendly and the music was so good .. I will go back there again..
Had a seperate gluten free meal and were very knowledgeable. Service was fantastic!! Thank you
Had a Group event recently in the Boulevard. Service was excellent by very friendly staff. The food was very nice and delivered to our Group quickly. Great selection of bears and wines. Cannot fault the venue at all.
The Vino on the Verandah was absolutely an amazing night!
The Pizzini Wines were really luscious and the food was superb ! Fred the winemaker and Charlie from the boulevard were great hosts !
I had the pleasure of celebrating Rob & Ashleigh's engagement at this awesome venue with delicious food wonderful service in a warm and friendly environment, highly recommend!!!
We had our engagement party here yesterday and the staff were really helpful and the food was delicious. I would happily recommend having a function here!
Great service and atmosphere. Am yet to be disappointed with the wine list and the nibbles we ordered were delicious.
Came here on Wednesday with a large group. Accomodating to a large group. We were able to split bill. Large venue. Lovely atmosphere. Beautiful food that all came out at the same time. Large menu with plenty of variety. No complaints.
I went here for a casual drink and a small bite to eat on a weekday mid afternoon. The service was prompt to see take orders and the waiter was very friendly. We ordered some things to share including the sausage and hummus and bread. The hummus and warm bread was amazing, but the sausage was fatty, gristly and not to my liking. I liked that they had the option to sit at a table or in a more relaxed space on a couch.
Love The Boulevard.... consistently good! A little pricey but I don't mind paying if it's good. We had the pork sausage pizza with green chilli, fries, panko crumbed confit lamb with mint sauce, fried squid and a chocolate torte with hazelnut ice cream for dessert.
We opted to just get 3 pieces of the lamb for $7 but we wish we got more. They were lamby nuggets of joy. Squid was tender and peppery, great chips, pizza had an amazing crust and the chocolate torte was moist and not overly rich.
No complaints at all.
Great venue, food and ambiance. BUT please do not serve your espresso martinis in wine glasses again. Go buy some martini glasses and/or advise your bar staff not to do this.
7 ladies ate lunch here yesterday, several of us first time visitors. A fabulous experience! The food and service was of a very high standard. The manager was very accomodating and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Tasty, well presented, generous portions of food and nice sized coffee cups! We all had the 2 course special with a glass of wine.... suoerb value. Definitely recommend this venue!
The Boulevard in Floreat is a lovely pub. With its modern, spacious fit out that includes plenty of great outdoor seating options for sunny days and balmy nights, a solid menu of very tasty offerings and a drinks list long enough to keep everyone happy it’s definitely a great place for a meal or to settle in for a sesh. One other big tick for The Boulevard is that the crew there sure know how to put on an event. They run them like well-oiled machines. I first noticed this when I headed along to one of their School of Cheese afternoons, which was a lovely way to wile away a few hours and then more recently when I was invited along to one of the Vino on the Verandah evenings. These are held every month or so and are a three course dinner, where a different winery’s range will feature. On the night GG and I headed along the winery in focus was Domaine Chandon, so sparkling a plenty!
Very enjoyable! I had the beef cheek special, which was superb, and 4 friends had a variety of dishes, all were great. Service was attentive and friendly, and food was prompt without feeling rushed. It has a cosy feel in winter and I'm looking forward to returning in finer weather to make the most of the outdoor section.
We had dinner there Friday night and it was wonderful. I had roast chicken with polenta and the most delicious balsamic jus - which my husband decided to steal to accompany his cooked to perfection steak! Would be good to offer range of sauces with the steak instead of just one (pepper please) but other than that couldnt fault service, food or atmosphere and cant wait to return.
Alongside a delicious meal, we got to sample all of the beers that were on offer. It was my first experience with a beer sampling and I have to say I was really impressed. The options for beer were really spectacular and you could really taste the difference between all of the different types. I have to say though I am a bit of a sweet tooth and, of course, the cider was my favourite. Custard & Co is really awesome and their choice cider goes down smooth.I really loved Pirate Life and if you see this beer take the opportunity to smell its aroma. Strange I know, but it really does have a vibrant fresh scent! We were seated at a long table in the beer garden just out of site from the sun and the food was to die for. I also heard while I was there that The Boulevard has the best steak, so you know I will be returning!
Cheese is easily one of my favourite things. There so many deliciously different types. Variety is a wonderful thing! You’ve got your soft, creamy cheeses like a decadent Brie or hard and crumbly like an aged cheddar or for the slightly more daring you have your blue cheese. It’s strong and pungent and can be an acquired taste, but once you love it, it’s a lifelong affair. So many cheeses, so little time. So if you are a bit of a fan, much like myself, then The Boulevard has something special for you!On a regular basis they now hold their ‘School of Cheese’ events, a tasty spin on a traditional Sunday session held for an hour or so on Sundays. You are seated at a nice long table in a group of around 20 or so and get to sample five different cheeses and matched drinks for $55 per person. I thought this was a very reasonable price…. Especially when I saw the generous pours!
Another successful lunch here. Great burger again today and super service, even though it was pretty busy. glad to be back and see these guys are consistently good!
Efficient staff - very obliging and willing to help to make the best of the evening
Great decor - comfortable seating
Best to book as can be hard to get a table
Good food and drinks
Cool interior, and attentive staff. The pizzas were delicious and even better they are half price on Monday. Desserts (chocolate tart and pavlova) were just ok though.
Awesome steak! Like - on par with Rockpool if not better! Cooked to perfection! Good service (2 out of 3 staff were fabulous and attentive) Great wine list with a lovely bar man who was happy to discuss and talk through wines-we drank his recommendation and were very happy! Great ambiance and nice to have different areas to have a drink first and then eat-going back this Friday night for more if that steak!
Now I’ve never been a huge beer fan, but when I was invited to a long table lunch in the sunshine with a bunch of Perth beer fans and bloggers I couldn’t pass it up. Who knew I would leave appreciating, and actually enjoying a cold brew. The Boulevard Hotel is a classy bar and restaurant tucked away at the Floreat shopping centre hub. With a stunning, sun filled beer garden and a large restaurant floor it really is the place to be on a weekend afternoon (or any time really)! Coinciding with the long table lunch a beer brewing market was in full swing with companies including Pirate Life Brewery and Custard and Co sharing their knowledge and beers. Patron’s mingled with the brewers and discussed the finer points of the popular brews, whilst sampling their drink of choice. Unfortunately I couldn’t stick around for the four course affair, but the two courses I devoured were delicious and the perfect amount of food for a late lunch in the sunshine. I’m a huge fan of a shared entree. Firstly because I can never make up my mind with too many choices, and secondly because you get to taste a little sample of everything. First up on the menu was the Vitello Tonnato with parmasen and grissini ($23). The thinly sliced cold veal was beautifully cooked, and worked magically with the creamy tuna mayonnaise type sauce. A perfect starter, I could probably have eaten the entire dish, as the slow cooked veal just melted in my mouth. Served with crunchy grissini (bread sticks), the combination of flavours was elegant and the perfect way to start a meal. Entree number two was an Italian classic and a naughty favourite. The Roast Courgette Arancini ($16) were served in a pool of rich tomato sauce and featured a sweet red pepper flavour. Crisp on the outside and gooey and soft inside, the arancini were full of warmth and comfort. Again, I could have eaten the entire share plate as I’m a huge fan of the addictive dish and they were extremely tasty. The rice was cooked perfectl
Friendly service. Super fast food even though they were flat out busy! Plus pizzas were amazing!!! YUM!
Never skips a beat.. Consistently good food and great, friendly service. Been here on multiple occasions for lunch and dinner and never had a bad experience. Great to sit out in beer garden on a sunny day.
Decent food snooty waitress. Having been here many times we expected good food and great service. Long story short the waitress told us there was a kids barramundi and chips and salad for $12. We ordered plenty of beer and wine and a host of share plates plus two kids meals. The meal was fine nothing to complain about. When the bill came out we had been charged $38 for the kids meals and when my husband queried it the waitress developed an attitude. They did refund us but we won't be going back thanks to her. We'd rather spend our cash on kids meals at the Saint that are $10 and come with drinks, ice cream and an activity pack.
GREAT weekend lunch.. We have been here many times and it never disappoints! A great place for an event, or weekend lunch with family and friends. Always friendly service and the salmon nicoise is amazing! Even some gluten free options. We will keep coming back.
Good Night Out. Enjoyed a quick mid-week bite with family. Drink lists are the usual stock standard as is the selection of food with steak sandwiches being the overwhelming favourite in my party. I have the tortellini - not what Luigi would be after but a great rendition in a pie like pastry with melt in your mouth lamb shoulder. If I lived NOR I'd be a regular.
Very very happy with the service and venue. Went for my birthday and had a variety of dishes which the waitress perfectly matched with wines. We had excellent customer service from start to finish and was very impressed with the food. Looking forward to our next visit. I highly recommend this venue.
Very good. Very nice and and a great atmosphere. Not too loud like you would expect at a pub. Just a good relaxing place.
Excellent. Been to a lot of ‘Fancy Schmancy’ restaurants of late that simply have not cut the mustard & even at one, (Bistro Des Artistes where they forgot my main meal so had to sit by & embarrassingly watch the others eat, on top of appalling service with waiters who could barely speak English & I doubt barely understand it, & not so great meals), The Boulevard is definitely “Hot Australian”!!
It was very busy but the waiters were excellent, informative & extremely courteous & friendly. The food was amazing & we had the best Carpaccio (to die for!!) & prawn linguine we have had in many a year! The portions were generous & even though it was busy we did not have to wait too long & the waiters were very knowledgeable of the meals. The coffee at the end was brilliant & unlike a lot of coffee places that serve you cups only suitable for a child’s tea set the ones here were lovely & big & the coffee delicious.
It was pretty pricey but hey we are in Perth where most eateries are over the top but here we did not mind paying at all as everything was brilliant!
Would recommend this place highly & it is great for families, couples, romantics or groups alike. We sat outside (but inside looked fantastic as well) & at first the music was too loud if you sat under a speaker but they happily turned it down for us so it was a great night in an excellent setting.
We will definitely be going back!
Always great. Have been multiple times and have never been disappointed. Works well for small and large groups. The menu is varied and everything I've tried (about 75% of the menu!) has been lovely. The salads are huge! Service is friendly and the set out is lovely, I can never decide which area to sit in! Extensive wine list although a little on the expensive side.
Outstanding. Will definitely be back! great food and service and value
Never disappoints! Great food, service, cocktails, atmosphere. Love it!
P.s. Their arancini and chicken cous couc salad is amazing. Hubby loves their pizzas :)
Reliably good. Had a fab dinner last night. Food delicious and service impeccable. Happily fed 3 kids and 4 adults. Their French sparkling rose is delightful. Wonderful to see a well setup establishment still going great guns.
Arancini yummm. Their arancini are to die for!!!
Always great service, and beautiful beer garden.
Love it!. This place has to have the best, and most reasonable priced food in town. I have dined here many times and tried most of the menu. Everything has been faultless - warm chicken salad, tasting plate, salt and pepper squid, beef ragu... Though you cannot go past their pizzas and the spanish donuts! The only annoying thing is not being able to reserve a table on Friday or Saturday night, though they do seat you as quickly as possible and its well and truly worth the wait.
Really lovely lunch on a sunny winters day. We had a few sharing dishes and all were tasty and well presented. We will be back!!
Friday Lunch. We had lunch here yesterday and it was great. We shared a steak sandwich (the standout), chips and salt & pepper squid. Service was very good. Kid friendly as it was not busy.
Always Good. Been here many times over the years and we have never been disappointed. We have eaten at the tables, but mostly eat in the comfort of the lounge room, were we share various tasting plates.
Not the cheapest place to eat, but constant quality of food and service always leaves you with positive vibes.
First Class all the way.. greaat menu and drinks list with plenty of beers to choose crom and probably THE BEST Steak sandwich in Perth.
Not as good as it once was.. I've been here around ten times in the last year. It's still much better than pub food with restaurant quality at pub prices. It is not however as good as it used to be, which was amazing! Today I had the signature Crab Spaghettini and it was too oily. The lemon lime and bitters were so weak they looked like sodas and they charged for swapping an included desert sauce from chocolate to vanilla. Not that I care about the dollar but when you're spending $200...
In conclusion it seems they are cutting corners to squeeze every buck out of the place - the rent must be biting hard and the bean counter is calling the shots. It's downhill from here unfortunately.
Went again and it was better. Might have been a one-off.
Fabulous spot for large group. We had a function for school parents at The Boulevard last night and it was fabulous. Jennie was very accommodating during the booking process and on the night it all came together beautifully. On arrival, we were introduced to our hostess who looked after us all night, very attentive. The pre-ordered platters were delicious, piping hot and yummy. The pumpkin pizza is absolutely amazing....I would go back just to try it again! Fabulous spot for groups (large or small) comfy chairs and a great atmosphere.
Wow. What a surprise: fabulous surrounds, beautiful food, attentive service, and reasonable prices. A homerun!
Fan. Setting, food, service, price, wine list.. Boulevard ticks all the boxes! We went with a group of friends which will all definitely be back. Love this place!
Lovely food. The beef eye fillet was cooked beautifully. However cooked vegetables instead of salad would have made it a great meal. Music somewhat loud.
Another good experience. Service excellent, food great, not over priced. All boxes ticked.
Good day out for St Paddo's. It was a lovely spot and casual place to hang out with mates for a few. Food, drinks, out door setting and service were great. I love it there.
Great Experience. Had a faultless experience on Saturday night, and I'm generally very critical of Perth venues regarding the service received considering how much you pay. The staff couldn't have done more for us - they were a credit to the hotel and did as much as possible to ensure everyone had a good night. The bar snacks and pizza we ordered were also excellent.
Thank you.
Lunch of fish was excellent. Agree with those looking for some updates to menu, but as far as service is concerned, they are outstanding.
Brilliant lunch at the boulevard. Service was excellent. All of the staff had great personalities and did their jobs well. Very much appreciated. Food was delicious. Best pub food going around.
The pink snapper special with asparagus risotto was absolutely delicious. Huge serving though!
Beautiful renovations, chilled and funky atmosphere. Helpful service and reasonably priced menu. Fantastic drinks list. Will definitely be back!
The Boulevard Hotel. Great atmosphere, yummy food!! We will be back!
Had a great meal for a bday lunch, started witg sausage rolls and pizza bianca to share, I then had the steak sandwhich which was tender! Pavlova and Spanish donuts was shared by all for deserts, no issues, great service.
Went with a dozen people on a wet Monday night.all ordered meals and everyone was happy with their food ranging from pizza to salmon. Service excellent.decor interesting and varied. Great night out cant wait for summer to try the outside spaces
Food was lovely as were the wines and service. Looking forward to coming back
Fancy Pub. We visited before going to see a show at Challenge Stadium. Stupidly I didn't think that everyone else would have the same idea. I turned up straight after work at 5.40pm and all tables were fully booked. I was meeting my partner and 2 other friends there and the host kindly let us sit at a table that had to be vacated by 7.30pm. Service was attentive and for a freezing cold night the venue was warm and cozy. As always, the partner and I always go for the healthiest choices so we picked the chicken salad and the grilled salmon with salade nicoise. Both were delicious and the chicken salad was more like a main with quite a few large bits of perfectly cooked roast chicken on top of the small salad which had a delicious Thai inspired coconut dressing. Each meal cost $32.80 each so it's pretty expensive for a pub. The other couple went for the risotto and fish and chips and they both looked good.
Hope you're hungry. Had dinner with a group of mums at the Boulevard just recently. It's a lovely spot, particularly the outdoor area, although we ate inside as it was a cold rainy night. I had the steak sandwich which I was told came either medium rare or well done. Struck me as a bit weird but I chose well done and it was delicious. The tomato chutney really made it, and the bun was beautiful, as were all the fillings. A couple of friends chose the share plates which were surprisingly large. Speaking of large, the desserts were huge. The waitress did warn us, so 3 ladies shared the churros and still didn't finish. The dish consisted of 5 enormous churros that were too big really. Their size made them too doughy and they weren't crisp. I had a citrus pannacotta and crumble. Slightly odd pairing but they both had an amazing flavour. I could only eat half though. Anyway, I'll be back for another steak burger, maybe for lunch on a nice sunny day so I can dine alfresco.
Just wanted to add my vote for the great food and fantastic service at this pub. Patrick is the best waiter I've encountered in years. Really enthusiastic about wine and just really good at his job. As is the other bloke and the girl with the long brunette locks, sorry i dont know names. And all the wait staff have made our young kids feel very welcome. Keep it up guys!
Fantastic service, & food. Best pub in Perth
Came here for lunch on Sunday. Venison bangers and mash special was amazing but what stood out was the customer service. My partner accidentally managed to knock her full glass of wine into her untouched risotto and it was replaced free of charge, we did not expect that! Everyone that served us was professional and the ambience outside was delightful. Highly recommend.
Best so far. We have been coming to the Boulevard every few weeks since August last year, and cant fault a thing. food is always beautiful and the service and staff very pleasant and helpful even when you rock up with no booking on a busy night.
keep it up guys!
Great Atmosphere, Perfect Sunday Arvo. Great atmosphere, perfect for a sunday afternoon drink.
Not too busy, not too quiet -- fantastic music and a good crowd.
The only disappointment would probably be the limited menu, which could use some spicing up - and the pizzas could be better.
Their pumpkin and fetta arancini and other bits and pieces are delicious though, and the service is great (especially for Perth)..The good definitely outweighs the bad - and we will continue to come back, as its probably one of the best bars around. Other venues really need to come and see how a professional businsess is run.
Back on Track. Was a regular when it 1st opened, but really didnt like last years winter menu. Lunch today was very pleasant. The poached chicken salad is back on and steak sandwich looked good. Efficient service and decor is great.
Nice spot for a lazy Sunday lunch. Burger looked delicious. Salt and pepper squid was tender and delicious. Good service and lovely ambience
Loved it. First time i have been since the revamp, went with a group of 10 plus for a work function. Everything was absolutely perfect. Table service drinks, great waitstaff and great food.
Could not fault it at all.
Fantastic service. A group of 5 of us recently dined here for after work drinks and nibbles - the food menu is easy to navigate with only 1 page of options, and although nothing marvellous, it's good, easy food with a touch of the 'glamour' ingredients. The wine list is fairly extensive (and pricey) for a hotel and they do excellent cocktails (I had a marvellous mojito!). The stand out for the evening at The Boulevard for em though was really personable staff who genuinely cared that you were enjoying yourself, and even though we were required to move half way through our stay as we were sitting in an area that was getting set up for a function, they made it easy and fuss free. My only complaint was that the music was a little loud at times (we couldn't hear each other talking) but it was Friday after work and you'd expect that on the weekend.
Decent food and ambience. Having seen the transition between management and change in venue I think they have finally got it right. The venue is great for relaxing over a wine or beer with a decent mix of ages and people. The bar snacks are very average but the meals are great, steak sandwich is a must. As this is our local we will keep supporting it.
Fantastic mushroom pizza. Hot chips were good as well. Service pretty good but a bit snappy at times.
With a decent range of craft beers on tap, super friendly and helpful staff, delicious food and a great vibe The Park Floreat is a winner and worth popping into if you are in the area and looking for any of the above! Looking forward to a return trip to try more of the food!
Wow!!!
The squid was cooked perfectly. Melt in your mouth perfect and only lightly battered. It was divine!
The service was outstanding, even though we didn't book ahead they made it happen for us (I would recommend that in future though)
The steak was thick and cooked exactly right, and the barramundi was falling apart and soft.
Neither of us could fault a single thing and we are both very picky. Neither of us normally photograph our food but we had to stop eating with this review in mind.
What a gem!
Incredible food for a great price. Great beers. Friendly staff and awesome service. Good atmosphere. Can’t fault it. Get down there and check it out.
Had a very enjoyable lunch at The Park. Really liked the cabbage dish.
Staff are very friendly and attentive. They have Guinness which is important. Unfortunately there are no other Stouts available. The lager was ok but a bit watery on my palate after Guinness. The steak sandwich was great in a perfect fresh roll. I have tried the oysters twice here and found them served in strong brine. I complained and was impressed that the chef came out to discuss my view. I guess it’s not what I am used to. I like to taste the meat not a salty soup. The venue is under new management and they are actively working hard to make it work. I’ll be back but I’ll give the oysters a miss.
Fast becoming my local. They have a great Oatmeal Stout that makes a Guinness sing if you’re open to mixing your darks. The Burger is 5 star here. Couple this with great service and a smile!!! 😁
If anyone is looking to host an event at The Park Floreat, we cannot recommend it enough!
My fiancé and I had been looking for a venue to host our engagement party for months, until we finally found this venue. Everything looked appealing to us, from the new renovations, the inviting staff and the awesome new atmosphere, and I am so glad we booked the beer garden at the Park!
Due to the new covid restrictions in place at the time, the original date we had planned for our engagement party had to be postponed. The venue co-ordinator Leah was quick to contact us with the new changes and offered us several dates to choose from. Leah made the process of event organisation look easy as she went above and beyond to ensure our night went seamlessly. With her experience in the industry, she was also able to recommend us great vendors for the night.
Everything from the organisation of the event itself, to the catering (the GFOs are amazing), to the staff, to the drinks, to the great venue, we highly recommend booking your next event at The Park Floreat. Considering we were the first large function the Park Floreat had hosted; the whole night went without a hitch! Thank you to Leah and her amazing team, we are so grateful we booked our event at the Park Floreat.
