Absolutely sensational! Today we had a beautiful lunch at the Boulevard. Service was impeccable from the second we walked in, but never overbearing. The steak sandwich was bloody beautiful; perfectly cooked fillet steak on a gorgeous brioche bun served with smashing chips! Best I've had in Perth. The sundae on the Local Lunch menu would have to be the highlight though. Never had such a party of flavours in my mouth! Delicious vanilla bean ice cream, fresh seasonal berries topped with the most amazing crumbly, toffee crunchy nuts and mini donuts disguised as waffles. I can't rave about it enough, honestly. Can't wait to come back! Thanks guys
The husband and I decided to check this out for dinner after driving past every single week. Staff were lovely and very attentive, good music playing and holy moly the portion sizes of the food were HUGE! Well priced too. One of the best espresso martini’s I’ve had. Will be back for sure.
Came here on Wednesday with a large group. Accomodating to a large group. We were able to split bill. Large venue. Lovely atmosphere. Beautiful food that all came out at the same time. Large menu with plenty of variety. No complaints.
I went here for a casual drink and a small bite to eat on a weekday mid afternoon. The service was prompt to see take orders and the waiter was very friendly. We ordered some things to share including the sausage and hummus and bread. The hummus and warm bread was amazing, but the sausage was fatty, gristly and not to my liking. I liked that they had the option to sit at a table or in a more relaxed space on a couch.
Love The Boulevard.... consistently good! A little pricey but I don't mind paying if it's good. We had the pork sausage pizza with green chilli, fries, panko crumbed confit lamb with mint sauce, fried squid and a chocolate torte with hazelnut ice cream for dessert.
We opted to just get 3 pieces of the lamb for $7 but we wish we got more. They were lamby nuggets of joy. Squid was tender and peppery, great chips, pizza had an amazing crust and the chocolate torte was moist and not overly rich.
No complaints at all.
Great venue, food and ambiance. BUT please do not serve your espresso martinis in wine glasses again. Go buy some martini glasses and/or advise your bar staff not to do this.
7 ladies ate lunch here yesterday, several of us first time visitors. A fabulous experience! The food and service was of a very high standard. The manager was very accomodating and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Tasty, well presented, generous portions of food and nice sized coffee cups! We all had the 2 course special with a glass of wine.... suoerb value. Definitely recommend this venue!
The Boulevard in Floreat is a lovely pub. With its modern, spacious fit out that includes plenty of great outdoor seating options for sunny days and balmy nights, a solid menu of very tasty offerings and a drinks list long enough to keep everyone happy it’s definitely a great place for a meal or to settle in for a sesh. One other big tick for The Boulevard is that the crew there sure know how to put on an event. They run them like well-oiled machines. I first noticed this when I headed along to one of their School of Cheese afternoons, which was a lovely way to wile away a few hours and then more recently when I was invited along to one of the Vino on the Verandah evenings. These are held every month or so and are a three course dinner, where a different winery’s range will feature. On the night GG and I headed along the winery in focus was Domaine Chandon, so sparkling a plenty!
Very enjoyable! I had the beef cheek special, which was superb, and 4 friends had a variety of dishes, all were great. Service was attentive and friendly, and food was prompt without feeling rushed. It has a cosy feel in winter and I'm looking forward to returning in finer weather to make the most of the outdoor section.
We had dinner there Friday night and it was wonderful. I had roast chicken with polenta and the most delicious balsamic jus - which my husband decided to steal to accompany his cooked to perfection steak! Would be good to offer range of sauces with the steak instead of just one (pepper please) but other than that couldnt fault service, food or atmosphere and cant wait to return.
Alongside a delicious meal, we got to sample all of the beers that were on offer. It was my first experience with a beer sampling and I have to say I was really impressed. The options for beer were really spectacular and you could really taste the difference between all of the different types. I have to say though I am a bit of a sweet tooth and, of course, the cider was my favourite. Custard & Co is really awesome and their choice cider goes down smooth.I really loved Pirate Life and if you see this beer take the opportunity to smell its aroma. Strange I know, but it really does have a vibrant fresh scent! We were seated at a long table in the beer garden just out of site from the sun and the food was to die for. I also heard while I was there that The Boulevard has the best steak, so you know I will be returning!
Cheese is easily one of my favourite things. There so many deliciously different types. Variety is a wonderful thing! You’ve got your soft, creamy cheeses like a decadent Brie or hard and crumbly like an aged cheddar or for the slightly more daring you have your blue cheese. It’s strong and pungent and can be an acquired taste, but once you love it, it’s a lifelong affair. So many cheeses, so little time. So if you are a bit of a fan, much like myself, then The Boulevard has something special for you!On a regular basis they now hold their ‘School of Cheese’ events, a tasty spin on a traditional Sunday session held for an hour or so on Sundays. You are seated at a nice long table in a group of around 20 or so and get to sample five different cheeses and matched drinks for $55 per person. I thought this was a very reasonable price…. Especially when I saw the generous pours!
With a decent range of craft beers on tap, super friendly and helpful staff, delicious food and a great vibe The Park Floreat is a winner and worth popping into if you are in the area and looking for any of the above! Looking forward to a return trip to try more of the food!
Wow!!!
The squid was cooked perfectly. Melt in your mouth perfect and only lightly battered. It was divine!
The service was outstanding, even though we didn't book ahead they made it happen for us (I would recommend that in future though)
The steak was thick and cooked exactly right, and the barramundi was falling apart and soft.
Neither of us could fault a single thing and we are both very picky. Neither of us normally photograph our food but we had to stop eating with this review in mind.
What a gem!
Incredible food for a great price. Great beers. Friendly staff and awesome service. Good atmosphere. Can’t fault it. Get down there and check it out.
Had a very enjoyable lunch at The Park. Really liked the cabbage dish.
Staff are very friendly and attentive. They have Guinness which is important. Unfortunately there are no other Stouts available. The lager was ok but a bit watery on my palate after Guinness. The steak sandwich was great in a perfect fresh roll. I have tried the oysters twice here and found them served in strong brine. I complained and was impressed that the chef came out to discuss my view. I guess it’s not what I am used to. I like to taste the meat not a salty soup. The venue is under new management and they are actively working hard to make it work. I’ll be back but I’ll give the oysters a miss.
Fast becoming my local. They have a great Oatmeal Stout that makes a Guinness sing if you’re open to mixing your darks. The Burger is 5 star here. Couple this with great service and a smile!!! 😁
If anyone is looking to host an event at The Park Floreat, we cannot recommend it enough!
My fiancé and I had been looking for a venue to host our engagement party for months, until we finally found this venue. Everything looked appealing to us, from the new renovations, the inviting staff and the awesome new atmosphere, and I am so glad we booked the beer garden at the Park!
Due to the new covid restrictions in place at the time, the original date we had planned for our engagement party had to be postponed. The venue co-ordinator Leah was quick to contact us with the new changes and offered us several dates to choose from. Leah made the process of event organisation look easy as she went above and beyond to ensure our night went seamlessly. With her experience in the industry, she was also able to recommend us great vendors for the night.
Everything from the organisation of the event itself, to the catering (the GFOs are amazing), to the staff, to the drinks, to the great venue, we highly recommend booking your next event at The Park Floreat. Considering we were the first large function the Park Floreat had hosted; the whole night went without a hitch! Thank you to Leah and her amazing team, we are so grateful we booked our event at the Park Floreat.
