Always good and one of my fave places in Melbourne. Nice food, nice people, nice atmosphere and an awesome band room. Extra points for me finally paying enough attention to notice the Mid Youth Crisis wall in said band room.
Absolutely love the vegan choices!! The desserts were to die for! I wish we had a pub like this over in Seaford, I'd go all the time. Definitely worth the drive though, we'll be back ☺
Delicious pub food. The fish burger is the bomb - best fish burger I’ve had! Good pub menu with nearly all items able to be veganised. Prices are reasonable. Good selection of beers too. Very sad that it’ll be closing soon. I hope the owners open up another place. The Rev will be missed.
Yum yum yum. Tasty pub fare with ample vegan options. The vegan popcorn chicken is incredible, and I’m a meat eater! Friendly staff, great venue. Pity it’s closing in a week or two.
Love the staff, love the food and love the vibe. Do wish Monteiths cider was still a think but the new one is good in its own way! Good for vegan meals, normal meals, trivia, comedy and live music.
Love the Rev! So many vegan and gluten free options. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Be prepared to wait for your food however - the kitchen is often busy, but is totally worth the wait! Their tacos are amazing, authenic tortillas and amazing flavour.
Great vegan options. Nearly everything can be veganized and I am so glad I don't live closer or I'd just lose any chance of buying a house in the future.
And their beverages on tap are varied and range from good to amazing.

Cool little pub in Footscray. Good vegan options and the burgers and fries are tasty. Friendly staff and quick service. Good accessible location.
Giving a full score as don't want to negatively effect zoomato scoring. Just wanted to advise that their awesome looking menu is only available after 5pm on weekdays. :( wish zoomato mentioned this before we drove over. With that said, the bar guy was nice and we'll deff go back to enjoy a feast. Just after 5pm on a weekday. :) I think food is served all day weekends.
Went for TACO TUESDAY and was not disappointed, good stuff! Authentic tortillas, fresh ingredients, vegan options, very well done. The pulled pork was by far my favourite and for $3, I don't know how they do it. They don't have a wide range of beers on tap, but they do have a good selection. Large and comfortable venue, will be back many times...on Tuesdays specifically.
great food, service and atmosphere but the vegan meat substitutes weren't as great as many other restaurants in the area, catered to both myself as a vegan and my partner who is omni !
would definitely come again to share some vegan tacos with my friends ☺️
