*THE* best gyu tan don in Melbourne, hands down. Someone prove me wrong. The chef has been here for decades and his consistency, amazing flaming wok skills, and simple marinade makes the dish.
The $22 price tag for the signature ox tongue don is a bit over the top…. But 5 stars for the food itself.
Stopped for a quick lunch while shopping at Footscray Market, located on the outskirts of the market and very clean. Friendly customer service and welcoming. Loved the Tempura Tofu and Chicken Katsu.

I order from Sekai every time I have a craving for chicken curry don, because theirs is the absolute best.
First time visit and thought it was pretty good value. Katsu chicken curry was well crumbed and not too much sauce. An excellent lunch, I would be happy to come back.

Chicken katsu curry was nice, the chicken was fried well. Wontons in the wonton noodle soup were too dense. Gyoza were delicious. Couldn’t really get over the raw meat smell from the market.
