Review Nando's - Footscray

The perfect Nando’s. Without fail, the many times we have been here, the food has been prepared and cooked to perfection. Nando’s Footscray has perfection as their standard and I always enjoy every choice I make in my visits. The team are friendly, efficient and work well together. The atmosphere is dynamic and the music makes my shoulders move as I utterly enjoy my meal. And a massive shoutout to all the crew, will always have this Nando’s as my “Home Base” Nando’s

I used to only enjoy KFC, but during our long lockdown, I started trying other chicken outlets. Some I liked, others not so much. I decided to try Nando's because they had a free delivery offer via their app. I really like their lemon and herb chicken, so tasty and moist but most importantly, healthier than fried chicken. Like another chicken place, finger licking good but without the oil. Now I order pick up from Footscray, usually half a chicken and some broccolini. By using the app, I get points which I have used for many free meals. It was my birthday this month and I received a $15 voucher. The staff here are very friendly and remember what I usually order. Although I have never dined in, the area is always best and clean.

I've always loved Nandos chicken, it's the unique Nandos only peri pero basting they use on their chicken that sets them apart from your other typical chicken and chip shops. I ordered a full chicken with "hot" as my choice of basting, with two of their side offerings in this case being peri peri chips and spicy rice. They also have quite a few other choices on the menu which include awesome chicken burgers and wraps, to chicken tenders and wing, etc etc... prices are reasonable I think for portion sizes which are on the medium side. Chicken is offered in lemon and herb for those who can't do spicy at all. Highly Recommended for those in the search of great Portuguese chicken! As a side note staff were very courteous and service was quick and top notch.

New owners? Quarter chicken and chips was terrible. Chicken wasnt cooked enough to get that charcoal crisp on outside was lukewarm and greasy, and smaller amount of chicken than what they used to. Chips were smaller and sweet Fa peri flavouring. They used to give packets of peri sauce in bag not anymore. Prices have gone up, quality gone down, won't be going back.

So glad that this outlet has reopened, popped in today (23/07) and the food was outstanding. The staff were also spot on and very well organised. Was going to the Docklands outlet which was ok but Footscray has delivered very well.

It's rare that I write reviews, but I just had to in this situation. There was a man that served me and my mate at about 3:30ish today, and the gentleman (I believe he was the manager) that served me gave me the best customer experience ive ever had in fast food. He asked if we needed a moment, didnt push us, took our order well and confirmed it, offered us a seat while we waited. And then we listened to him training a staff member how to cook. He did it flawlessly, didnt micromanage him, was kind, used inclusive language, just how one should be. He then gave us our burgers and wished us well, and it was the best burger from Nando's Ive ever had. I dont eat at Nando's a lot, I'm just hoping the company sees this and gives him a raise since they dont actually allow feedback on their site. 5 stars for a job well done.

Excellent food. The staffs are so generous. A bit difficult to get the parking especially on weekends and holidays. However, you will enjoy Nando's chicken!.

Every time you go there they say only take away then why the management can't update on the website saying till 9 PM dine in after that only take away, so that people wouldn't show up, there own rules all the time.Love nandos but not that location.

No car parking had to park in a no stopping zone.toilets if you sat down you would probably catch something from them.hand dryer didnt work.

Taste too special too good, awesome customer service.

Ordered here a few times often the chicken tenderloin and especially the chicken ribs are so small and burnt

Experienced top service when I visited this Nandos. A lot of the time I am disappointed in other Nando outlets - but not this one. Tuesday day time staff rocked. I’ll be back!

Chips were also cooked well - very happy with my order. <br/><br/>🍅Lizzie did not enjoy: there were a few obnoxious customers in the restaurAnt but that’s not nandos fault. Just quickly had my meal and left. <br/><br/>🥇Lizzie rates overall: felt a little uneasy in there as someone was playing really loud music through their speakers..and a lot of immature boys bouncing about.

This nandos is my favorite in the area because it’s always consistent with chicken size/quality and the chips are always fresh! <br/><br/>I get mild + BBQ basting mixed together to get full flavours. The restaurant is always clean as well

What can I say, food was great as always!! We ordered the Tear & Share Platter (whole chicken) and a side of sweet potato. We asked if we could get breast pieces instead of the whole chicken. The waitress was very friendly and helpful and told us that it was no problem. We sat down and in no time the food was out, we also received a bowl of chips on the house. The waitress came and checked up on us to make sure we we’re all good with everything. It was the first time going to the Footscray Nandos and I have to say I was very pleased with the service and food!

Big UberEats order from Nando's. Peri Peri chicken as on point as ever, Peri Peri chips were fine. Paella is good for its price point. The salads were disappointingly bare and grassy - but I can never hate on Nando's. ❤️

Normally when I’m asked to wait for my food to be made then I’m a pretty patient person. I will wait the 20 minutes that you specified and even ignore the fact that somehow a chicken store that prides itself on its famous South African grilled chicken has run out of marinated chicken and things need to be made from scratch. <br/><br/>That part is fine. <br/>However if I order two chickens then don’t make the first one and leave it there during that time to get cold. Also, don’t say 20 minutes when you meant 35 minutes and for sure don’t act extremely rude about it when we call you out on it.<br/><br/>I get that as a person working in hospitality that you get treated less than equal in the totem pole of society but if you’re about to be a colossal garbage person about this then you deserve this one star.

i've come here so many times but today i was really unhappy with the customer service of the white girl at the counter, they presented the meal so bad, it's look cheap, and also when i nearly finished the meal i found that there's a plastic piece in my salad dish. what's happening with them? i 'll never comback again at this store.

25 minute wait for takeaway. Burgers and chips were ready quickly with a significant wait for the sides, meaning the burgers and chips were lukewarm by the time the order was ready. The chicken within the burgers was particularly thin. The corn was twice cooked (steamed and charred) and overcooked at both stages. $53 for the order... Complete was of money.

This is my favourite Nando's restaurant.<br/>I often come in with family which they cater for all our needs and are flexible with seating arrangements. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Service with a smile.

Different to others. I thought that all nandos were the same, till i came to footscray to meet a friend.<br/>there was so much flavour.. the chicken paella was amazing and the chips were crispy

My experience. Staff were standing outside smoking and blocking the entrance, I felt very unwelcome. Chicken was burnt and tasteless. Miserable staff.

This Nando's should not be eaten at.<br/>The chips were cooked for too long, the chicken tasted burnt, and the service was absolutely appalling, when they actually decided to pay attention. I would not reccomend this restaurant to anybody.

The chicken tastes burned!!
