Review Hien Vuong Pasteur - Footscray

Bella Lee
Amazing experience! Great portion, fresh noodles, great balanced taste, decent prices!! 🦐Spring rolls definitely handmade from the house which you wouldn’t wanna miss. Stewed beef with rice noodles 100% memorable🍜 warm soup with wee bit spicy but ‘kickin it’ beef all AS ONE.( Shout out to it) Proteins in the bowl are quite a amount. Love it. 10/10 will comeback for more!!

Newest member of tenants on the busy Hopkins St serving vietnamese dishes. Although the place looks new from the outside, we felt like it wasn't taken care of properly resulting in a disappointing vibe when they can be so much more. The pho is tasty, clean broth although not as good as the other more famous ones along the same street. The combination rice has a strong tumeric flavour/smell compared to others but not in a bad way as it is still a great pork chop. Food - 6 Service - 7 Vibe - 6 Price - $$

Pho is very tasted. Very fresh veggies and staff are very nice. Good o try.

The best Pho I've ever had! Very consistent with such a pure and rich broth. I've tried many different places over the years in Australia and Vietnam and Hien Vuong is the best, hands down.

9/10 $13.00 (S) Beef & Tripes Pho ... fresh, clear broth, rich in aniseed. Very clean restaurant.

The Pho is delicious and the best Pho in the town. Highly recommend!

I always come here because they have the best rice noodles, great range of other dishes and friendly service. The renovated restaurant is nice to sit in too. Not noisy and very clean and comfortable.

Outstanding Food, taste very good, will definitely come back for ice coffee too

Pho Hung Vuong remains closed due to COVID19 and we were desperate for pho so we walked in here - probably wished we didn’t. Their menu is almost identical to their competitor, and they have recently renovated. Their pricing is also identical. However, their special beef was made of borderline “off/sour” beef balls, and barely 2 full balls in a large, with neither quantity/quality hitting the mark of Pho Hung Vuong. I would have thought the break would allow restaurants like these to lift their standards but service was perfunctory and food was not up to scratch. Disappointing - they have a chance to outshine the best pho restaurant in Footscray and they are well off the mark

Wow! After the recent renovation, I just couldn't recognize it from the old store. Brightly lit and seatings are spacious. We ordered the crispy skin chicken maryland egg noodle soup and the stewed beef noodles. The beef noodles is delicious however the egg noodles soup is a bit salty. Minimum spending for EFTPOS is $15 with no surcharge on credit card.<br/>

The recent renovation has really made this place outstanding in looks. We caught glance of this place across the street and just HAD to look in as it really didn’t fit in with Footscray. Was very impressed and enjoyed the Pho. There was an extensive menu for those who don’t just want Pho. Tried the Grilled pork broken rice aswell which was great, however could do with more toppings! Otherwise great place, will be coming back due to the affordable price tag that comes with quality and good service.

Hopkins St is dotted with good Vietnamese restaurants, but Hien Vuong Pasteur still manages to shine. It provides a bright, modern dining experience while maintaining the feel of a welcoming family-run restaurant.<br/><br/>This place is one of the few I have found that sells bo kho, and in my view it is the star of the show. Following a recent tweak to the recipe, it is everything that bo kho should be: a fragrant soup with tender, flavoursome chunks of meat that fall readily off the bone.<br/><br/>The other items on the menu (including the pho) are also excellent, as one would hope and expect.<br/><br/>Finally, it should not go without mention that the service here is particularly friendly and good-natured.

This place has been recently refurbished which caught my eye.<br/>The service needs some work and the pricing is roughly in line with the area.<br/>I order the Pho with sliced beef and brisket.<br/>The broth was flavourful and clean tasting.<br/>The brisket was probably the star of it. Sliced thinly and slow cooked that it just fell apart in my mouth.<br/>Probably one of the best Phos I have eaten.<br/>The sides could probably look more fresh as the bean sprouts were limp looking.<br/><br/>Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to come here again, even with the other options in close vicinity.<br/>

We’ve been going here for many years now and they have never changed anything till now. The place got a face lift and it looks amazing! Might been hard to recognize now but they’ve really put themselves to be in the modern world! Don’t worry the food still taste the same, as amazing as it was before the renovations. I hope they do very well as I’ll be devastated if they left the west. Great place for a warm bowl of soup!

The Phonis very cheap, only $14 for a really huge large size Beef special Pho, full of beef and brisket. If the shop in City or other district. They will be full of customer. BUT IN Footscray, the shop is empty in the lunch time and only me. Although the soup is declious, the beef sausage and noodle disappoint me. The service is good but in the high competition area, they couldn’t win.

Was cold and tired and sick and this was the perfect place to go for a delicious veggie filled vegetarian pho! Very impressed. Staff are lovely too.

Love the bo Kho<br/>It’s the best soup ever <br/>This venue is very unassuming but has the the best food and the service is quick , polite and when coupled with good solid food , makes it a definite go to for a good prized meal

Ordered the combination beef pho and the chicken pho. Both came with a lot of meat and the broth was delicious, very flavoursome. Service was good and the food came out super quick.

We've been frequent diners in this unassuming restaurant in Footscray, which has served us well since our university days!<br/>Our favourite here is the Grilled Chicken Pho. Also comes in Grilled Pork Pho. <br/>The Chicken is marinated and grilled beautifully.<br/>The Pho broth itself is deep and rich. Will be back here in winter :)

One of my top pho outlets in Melbourne. Food here is top notch - fresh, tasty and generous with the portions. Service is speedy. Very kid-friendly too.

😱Lizzie’s first impression: I have been here since I can remember ... I would say at least ten times a year and it has always been so consistent. <br/><br/>🍩Lizzie enjoyed: The pho is amazing and I cannot fault anything about it. The pork cutlet with broken rice is another winner here. <br/><br/>🍅Lizzie did not enjoy: nothing to fault! <br/><br/>🥇Lizzie rates overall: It feels so homey and I would come back time and time again. It’s affordable and the owner is lovely!

Hien Vuong was packed for Saturday lunch. One of the staff gestured us to a table on the right when he saw us walked through the door. The menu is on the wall and it’s predominantly pho with your choice of meat and some rice options. We ordered the beef slices & brisket, beef slices and beef balls with Vietnamese coffee. Although there are 3 sizes ( small, medium and large ) available, the staff who took our order said it’s only regular option for us! We would prefer smaller bowl but didn’t mind it too much. The food were served very quickly and the pho broth is very flavourful. The iced coffee was good too.

Wonderful family business that serves the best pho in Footscray; I've been a loyal customer for 4 years now and wouldn't go anywhere else for my pho fix!

*Update 24/4/17*<br/>Not sure what happened to their pho and spring rolls! Spring rolls definitely shrunk in size and it's fried so badly! (see images below) 😢😢<br/><br/>Also I used to love their pho. It used to be refreshing and tasty but today I got so dehydrated after. Too much MSG? 😂😂<br/><br/>I won't be back anytime soon. 🖐<br/><br/>____________________________________________________________<br/><br/>*Review from 2 months ago*<br/>This place was recommended by one of my friends.<br/><br/>Ordered the special chilli beef soup with vermicelli (as suggested) and spring rolls.<br/><br/>The special chilli beef soup tastes  like pho soup mixed with a bit of tom yum paste (not sure if they add tom yum paste but it tasted so 🙈). The beef pieces given were good quality and cleaned well. Although this dish tastes different from the conventional pho, I still prefer having pho (sorry not a convert yet). haha.<br/><br/>The spring rolls (10 rolls) were just $11 which is VERY affordable imo. They're freshly fried and almost burnt my tongue. haha.<br/><br/>The food tasted good and service was attentive. Surroundings are clean as well. I'll definitely be back to try pho instead of the chili beef soup. 😛😛

Ordered special chicken pho , all the lovely long rice noodles had been Broken into tiny pieces to create an unenjoyable texture. We did mention this to the waitress, but I'm not sure what happened to the complaint , no apologies forthcoming ect... I don't think I'd be writing this average review if I felt like the complaint was taken a little more seriously. Disappointed ... seemed like they were trying to close also so maybe trying to use up some scraps end of evening :(

This is my favourite pho shop in Footscray (have tried Huong Vuong, Dong Ba, Pho Chu The).<br/>The waiter/esses are friendly, the shop  is not too crowded and loud as compared to Huong Vuong, the servings sizes are just right!<br/><br/>So far my tastebuds believe the soupbase here tastes the best. <br/>Out of the pho shops I guess the only differences are in ambience and soup quality, this is why Hien Vuong edges ahead of the rest.

Ventured here after being repeatedly informed that this was the quintessential Pho place to be.<br/>Sure enough the Broth was decent, but lacked the depth that I was expecting from bone marrow brewed hours on end. The Bún Bò Huế Broth also fell short of that encountered elsewhere, such as Cu Do.<br/>Not sure if the older guy that served us was somehow aligned to the ownership of this place, but given his cavalier attitude and lack of response to human interaction, I'd say so.
Spaghetti Monster
Only went here once. We ordered 4 bowls of pho soup but the owner / waitress was trying her best to get us to have starters too. As if pho soup wouldn't be filling enough! She really was just interested in getting more cash out of us. Probably thought we were tourists rather than residents. Avoid.<br/>Better to queue up at the pho place the other side of the NAB cash point.

早餐一碗牛膏粉配上一份牛血汤真的太舒服了,好吃到忍不住发朋友圈赞扬一下,汤底清透的令人诧异。<br/>Nothing is better than a bowl of pho for breakfast. So comforting and warm up your palate for the day. Try the beef fat instead of raw beef and you'll find pho up to another level.
Isle
They have very delicious Phó and I think the best prawn springrolls in the land. Through the years we see different staff but taste stays authentic. I had my first Beef Phó here 15 years ago. We try different places now but from time to time we come by for a quick bite & sip :-)

Don't expect to find any hipsters or trend setters here. What you will find is some of the most authentic Pho outside of Vietnam. Fresh garnish and plenty of chicken. Lovely!
Maheeka Samayadasa
Really enjoyed there food! The portion was huge! I ordered the fried chicken and the sauces given complimented the dish perfectly. It's a small joint in Footscray.

Some of the best pho I've had in Melbourne. As a regular to Victoria Street in Richmond Footscray was a pleasant surprise.<br/>Will be back again<br/>

One of the best pho places I’ve been in Melbourne. Awesome pho and great three colour drink, what more can you ask for? Also prices are very reasonable. Would recommend!. Three Colour Drink $3.50. One of the better serving glasses for the three colour drink. Easy access to all green jellies and red beans. Great flavour and not too sweet. Good price. 8.8/10

Delicious pho which really hit the spot on a cold autumns day. We came around 5pm and it was pretty quiet. The service was a bit slow but worth the wait. I had my go to classic sliced beef in a small size. Broth was hearty and tasty, the beef was thinly sliced and very tender. Some odd bits looked a bit dry but every piece maintained its tenderness to my surprise. We had to ask for more sprouts as they only gave a small portion for 2 diners - 1 small and 1 large bowl. Large was a generous serve for the hungry diner. Another great pho spot amongst the many choices in Footscray.

Been going to Hien Vuong for well over 10 years and they never fail to disappoint. Always good value and really tasty pho. Staff are very quick to provide service. Great drinks too, my favourite is the three colour drink and sugar cane juice.

The pho was flavourful and nice but I have had better. The garnish was a bit on the stingy side but it sufficed. Not a bad joint but we really are spoilt for choice.

I just love the spring rolls here! The pho is always enjoyable and while I thought the pho up the road had a tastier soup the experience here won out as better overall (did I mention how good the spring rolls are). Multiple return visits have confirmed Hien Vuong Pasteur is well worth a try.

Best Vietnamese food we had outside of Vietnam!!<br/><br/>Delicious pho with lots of yummy herbs and goodies. Giant size bowls filled with delicious soup and rice noodles. The spring rolls are nicely fried, wrapping it with the lettuce leaf and dip them into the sauce is so refreshing !!<br/><br/>Located in the Vietnamese area, it is very easy to confuse yourself that you are actually sitting in arrests of Hanoi.
Andy
Simple Vietnamese street food and brilliant soups, fast service in an old school Footscray restaurant but I enjoy a bit of the old authenticity with great food!

Spring rolls, rare beef pho and broken rice was amazing!! They also came out super quick! Which is great as we are always starving when going to a restaurant! I can't wait to head back! I love you Hien Vuong Pasteur! Please don't change.

Footscray is not the Footscray that we all thought we knew. With rising housing prices, increasing gentrification, and better infrastructure, Footscray is certainly going through an interesting transition. . We still managed to find ourselves at the old part of F-town, offering plenty of good ol' Vietnamese fare, at bargain prices. We must have looked like locals, because we weren't given menus, and instead had to rely on two large plastic boards which listed the items and lined the left and right walls of the restaurant.
Melbourne Glutton
There are plastic boards listing the food and the drinks high up on the two sides of of the restaurant walls. The pho's have prices (S=$9, M =$10, and L=$11), but the other dishes don't seem to. I suspect this is because pho is the most popular thing to order, and there are a lot of frequent customers. Also, the other rice dishes and entrees, are all priced similarly, in the early teens anyway.

Was craving for pho so my friend Eksy took me to Footscray and recommended me this joint.<br/><br/>I ordered pho with cooked beef and beef balls and Esky ordered chicken pho and pork spring rolls. <br/><br/>Despite what we ordered, Esky got assorted beef pho and prawn and pork spring rolls. =_=. Esky didn't complain about the pho but as we both don't eat prawn we told them about it. Guess what the owner did? He use his hand to pick out all the prawn spring rolls!!! I hope he wash his hands!!! To give him credit he did pick out all the prawns and they refried some pork ones for us.<br/><br/>The beef pho wasn't too bad, but the soup has a lot of msg and the noodles wasn't as silly as expected. It was alright.<br/><br/>Would I go back there? Nah.
Jesskaar
Hands down the best pho in Melbourne I've tasted thus far. The broth has a depth that makes the soul sing. I couldn't stop smiling as I slurped up my perfectly cooked noodles accompanied with generously stuffed homemade pork spring rolls. The bar for pho has been set dangerously high now, and I worry that my future pho experiences will fall short of this one.

I've been here once to try. Pho was indeed delicious as well as one of the pork and rice dishes. My go to place for pho is still Pho Hung Vuong though, but I might give another go to Pasteur (it was packed as I walked by this Sunday).
Stil Asleep
Nice , been coming here since I was a kid.<br/>The soup is full of msg. ( as with most pho) but the noodles and portion size are definitely worth it. Really tasty :)
Epicureal
Been here for years and love it!. We've been coming for years (they've practically watched our kids grow up) and still our favourite pho place after trying a number around footscray. The prawn spring rolls are crispy and full of prawny goodness!<br/><br/>Their rice dishes aren't great but they will do.
Snow Crab Nebula
It's become a quasi-tradition for me to go for a bowl of pho soon after landing in Melbourne. This fine tradition was continued on Thursday night when we headed over to Hien Vuong Pasteur (I joked that given the name, we could at least be certain it was salmonella free dohoho) in Footscray. I've been on a large and arduous quest for the best bowl of pho in Melbourne for years and had heard good things about HVP's. Thus far, my personal favourite is from Ninh Kieu on Victoria St in Richmond and so it remained after trying HVP's. M went for the braised beef brisket noodles which while the brisket was nicely soft and unctuous, the soup itself had a overtly sour and quite unpleasant flavour. My rare beef pho (what I always get), while better, wasn't anything to write home about. As discussed in my review of My's in Canberra I look for a few things when judging a bowl of pho. While the noodles and the beef here weren't bad, the broth kinda let it down. It was one of those pho broths which don't possess much flavour beyond being sweet and MSG-laden. No richness or depth of flavour from spices was to be detected. The spring rolls were just kind of your stock standard spring rolls...tasty enough but utterly unmemorable other than somewhat of a pong from the pork filling. While the meal was tasty enough (pho is almost always tasty and satisfying to me) I definitely wouldn't rush back.

It’s Pho Thursday, where I celebrate by locating a new place to slurp oversized bowls of pho each week. Last week we ventured to the hot-spot of Vietnamese restaurants that is Footscray. This establishment doesn’t offer menus, they are written on large boards above the conference styled tables and plastic chairs. Cranking my neck to see all the delicious offerings was too overwhelming and we both defaulted to the tried and true beef pho. Quickly a large plate of beansprouts, thai basil and chilli was plonked in front of us. The basil was fresh, as were the bean sprouts. The broth was beefy, fragrant and didn’t require the fanatic condiment adding that I love participating in.  The beef arrived rare, delicate and in generous proportion. Fish sauce was splashed with loads of siracha and a touch of hoisin was also added to the mix of flavours. Hien Vuong invitingly lays out all of my favourite condiments which is a HUGE plus. We also ordered a serve of mixed spring rolls to share and dip
Spoonfuls Of Wanderlust
This is a photoview post (contains mostly photos only).<br/>Verdict? Go for the clean and fresh pho, but don't stay for the broken rice.
Katherine Chiu
Hien Vuong- this was also another pho place that I used to love. Its very close to Footscray station and here I got quite a decent serve of pho for under $10. I sometimes bought a three coloured drink for $3.50. There are two of them and I went to both of these in my early days.
Theindolentcook
Naturally, we thought we would order one of each, to assess the difference. The woman taking our order looked at us like we were crazy.
Xjuzjuzjuzx
All I can say is ‘WOW’… what a luxuriant and deep flavour!
Cloudcontrol
I'm almost ashamed to say it, but father forgive me, it's been over two months since my last bowl of pho. I know, it's somewhat blasphemous. I used to eat it pretty much every other day when I was living in Viet Nam. Mostly for breakfast, sometimes lunch.
Food Floozy
The Phở here is simply outstanding! Lots of rich flavours in the stock, like star anise, beef and lime, and very little fat.
Ms Baklover
This is one old school pho joint. Daggy conference centre chairs, tiles, the hall of mirrors and the menu on the wall complete with mismatched stick-on fonts. I love Hung Vuong's neat and simple stainless steel but there's something comforting about this type of decor - like an old, stretched-out pair of trackies that are the daggiest yet comfiest thing to wear.
Some Like It Hot
Yum. Huge bowl for $10 that came out super fast and was super tasty. All good and will certainly be back.

LOVE this place. I decided to do my research and read a lot of food blogs and reviews of the Pho restaurants in Footscray, and Hien Voung Pasteur came out top of the list every time.<br/>Since eating here I can understand why. Every time I've been it's amazing quality. I usually stick to the beef pho, small size, and I'm lucky to finish! There has been a smal price increase latley, but I'm very happy to pay when I know what I'm getting is such good quality. Staff are very helpful and service is always quick. One of my favourites.
Deanricho_1999
Festivus - not tasty enough for me. Don’t get me wrong this was not a bad meal!<br/>I just don’t get the Pho soup thing<br/>Its close to tastless......I was adding sauces left right and centre to wake my buds<br/>Service was good
Bukko Boomeranger
Nice pho, shame about the MSG. Because I trust the judgment of "Consider the Sauce" blogger Kenny Weir, I popped into Hien Vuong Pasteur for dinner after working a shift with the wayward youth at the Orygen psychiatric centre. The pho was as good as Kenny proclaimed. The soup base was a trifle beefier than other versions I've had, with a faint bit of sweetness that I haven't tasted in other phos. Another reviewer mentioned anise seed is used in Hien Vuong's broth. It wasn't prominent enough to say that was the flavour for sure, but it was an interesting tweak. Unfortunately, it's three hours after I had the bowl, and the frontal lobes of my brain are feeling tight. MSG headache coming on! I'll have to drink a couple litres of water to flush it out of my system.<br/><br/>I found Hien Vuong's chicken rice paper rolls to be more interesting than the soup. Face it -- most quality phos are like each other. (There are a million ways to make bad pho, but let's not go there.) All good pho will have rich beef broth, meat (I'm squicky about uncommon cuts, so I always order rare beef. Hien Vuong has pho with beef blood and pizzle, if you're so inclined) noodles and the veg/basil/sauces to add in. There's not much variation from resto to resto, unlike with laksa. But rice paper rolls have lots of nuances. Hien Vuong's were shorter and stubbier than some I've had, but the barbecued chicken strips inside were bigger than other versions. There were ample shredded veggies in the wrap too, instead of an overload of vermicelli. I've had better -- a place named Vinh Long in Lalor is my current fave -- but these were worth coming back to. Especially because they don't have any MSG.
Tim
I used to go to hien vuong pho. My family and I went to this restaurants again after 2 years , i think. We ordered Pho', They brought out a plate of green beans sprout and vietnamese mints. It has a large caterpillar on the mint, as big as a size of the chop sticks. I qas shock. I would not come back again. Service was unpolite.
Fatty McNair
The best pho in footscray hands down.. Look for Pasteur and you can't go wrong. The place has hot broth with a nice taste. Good clean place with good service.
Tuna
Agree, this place is for pho and not rice. Great fresh pho, their sliced beef is served thin, as it should be...(unlike their other Vietnamese eateries).. general serving for coriander and spring onions always a bonus!<br/><br/>I always get a serving of fresh springrolls, to compliment our pho.. most of the time you will get fresh lettuce, but last night the lettuce was slightly old looking <br/><br/>i also have had their rice dishes and they werent all that great..
Chef John Smith
One very surprised vegetarian. My partner recommended this place to me when we were on the way to the market to buy fresh produce. I was skeptical as the menu was on the board, (no hand held menu's) and when I asked the waiter for a vegetarian dish, they said they only have one option. The one option was vegetarian rice paper rolls. I was not happy as I was looking forward to a Pho or rice dish and rice paper rolls are something that I eat when I'm on the go. However, when the rice paper rolls arrived I was pleasantly surprised. They were of a genourous size and DELICIOUS. They had well balanced sweet and pepper flavouring on tofu and vermeccili noodles. I haven't tasted a rice paper roll like it. THSE WERE THE BEST RICE PAPER ROLLS I HAVE EVER HAD. I WILL COME BACK HERE FOR THESE AGAIN AND AGIAN with meat eaters so they can enjoy the pork and chicken dishes. I have already recommended this place to everyone.
Marian
This is our regular pho place. I really don't get how the newer places that sell below average pho are always packed out and this place is not. Amazing pho and yum spring rolls. Efficient and polite staff.
Mia McGregor
Love this homely place. We love this homely place. The aniseed flavours in the pho here are our favourite, and wow, the Bò Kho (beef stewed with tomato, star anise, and lemongrass) special offered on the weekend is delicious. Our 2yo gets treated like a prince with lots of fuss, a complimentary lolly and he loves the 4 colour ice drink for dessert. Happy customers. :)
Brando The Pig
Good pho, spring rolls and crispy chicken were not bad, but i think the 94% rating is a bit overrated, as a couple of places down the road are much better IMO. Service was excellent
Karen Blake
Our favourite pho place in the west and a regular destination for dinner.
Ren Atkins
Good pho bo. We ended up here by default when we couldn't get a table at our intended destination, but it was a happy accident. The pho Bo was aromatic and the beef tender, and service was quick and friendly. Pork spring rolls were crunchy and tasty. Overall, a good cheap meal in daggy classic Footscray decor. Maybe one day I'll be brave enough to try the pizzle pho...

Thanks Footscray Food Blog. The wonderful Lauren from the equally wonderful Footscray Food Blog (http://footscrayfoodblog.blogspot.com.au/2011/07/pho-hien-pasteur.html) gave us the tip, and Hien Vuong (Pasteur) DELIVERED.<br/>Nice pho, pleasant and speedy service, space for our babys pusher.<br/><br/>Only problem is that they dont have a BBQ chicken pho. All good though.
Sam
Fabulous service to me who knows nothing about Vietnamese cuisine

Oh dear.... A delicious soup, but did i get a mega MSG headache and thirst afterwards? I think so... =(
Pho
Pasteur Sydney for me is the home of the Pho in Australia. Now living in Melbourne this place is excellent. Ticks every box. Well done.

Pho Gold. Best. Pho. In. Melbourne.

Pho. Great pho! I chose the sliced chicken and beef. The chicken component was skinless chicken breast nicely grilled with great flavour. The pho was light, fresh, not oily at all and no after-taste of any MSG. I just wish there was a place like this in the CBD. Still, it's well worth the drive to Footscray for quality pho.
Crumbs
The pho was really delicious! Very happy.

Amazing!. Best Pho out, we live in Ballarat and often plan our Melbourne trips around a bowl of Pho at this restaurant. Service is always great, and the quality never falters.. LOVE this place!

Excellent. There are, of course, tens of options to indulge in a bowl of Pho in Footscray. I popped in here due to the high ratings, and loved it so much, had to write a review saying so.<br/><br/>It was, surprisingly, not that busy at lunch and my natural instinct was to try somewhere busier. I didn't - and I'm glad.<br/><br/>With speedy attentive service, a steaming bowl of soup with quality beef slices and all the condiments was happily devoured within 10 minutes. Pleasingly with none of that 'I've just had a bowl of MSG' taste in my month.<br/><br/>Cannot be faulted - one of the best in Melbourne.<br/><br/>Recommend

Was attracted by the high rating and it didn't disappoint. I ordered the pho and the soup, noodle and chicken were all delicious. Though I had the medium, It was more like a large and it had heaps of noodle. However with all that said I still feel that the pho restaurant a few shops down, Hung Vuong, serves fresher and arguably tastier pho. Their high turnover gives Hung Vuong the competitive advantage.
