The food was delicious, fresh and came out quickly and the staff were super friendly too! Would definitely visit here again and highly recommend!
Ate dinner here a few weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised.
Thought the meal was good and staff were pleasant. Quick service and not too noisy.
Would definitely go again.
I booked via zomato but it booked us into the wrong restaurant so had to book by phone. Anyway we went on Saturday night and found it to be efficient and quick. Started off with a selection of rice paper vegetarian rolls & mixed spring rolls which were accompanied by sauces & Vietnamese mint which goes beautifully with the food. We shared mains of mock duck for our vegan, crispy skin duck, sizzling beef, special fried rice & beef stir fry. All delicious and went well with lotus tea. The desserts were stuck in the 70's, pineapple & banana fritters, ice cream sundaes with peanuts haha. I had coconut ice cream which was light & refreshing. Overall very good value and quite cheap.
Weird restaurant but mostly good food. Didn't like the spring rolls much but rice was great
Staff didn't come to our table after seating us for 15 mins even though there was only 2 other tables with people on them.
Great service, fantastic food, great atmosphere. Highly recommend the banquet. For our family of 4 with teenagers there was plenty and it was delicious
I am a vegetarian and I am always looking for restaurants that cater to that so as soon as I saw the vegetarian menu I had to try, especially cause they've given mock meats a go!
The decor is gorgeous! A lot of people call it tacky but it really does make you feel happy about being out and not at boring old home. I have only ever gone on week nights so have yet to witness how they handle a busy Saturday night.
The service is OK, I didn't have too much trouble but agree with other reviewers that they could be a bit more attentive especially if they want more drink sales.
The menu is huge but most of it I had no idea what it was going to taste like so it is hard to decide, it would be nice if the waiters were interested in helping with pointing towards popular dishes.
I went with the satay mock duck with a side of rice noodles. It is hands down the best satay dish I have ever had, and the duck meat was of perfect texture I couldn't believe it. I do recommend getting a side of rice or noodles because the 'meat' and veggies won't be completely filling for most.
The drink prices are quite good as are the meals. I usually end up spending $20-25 for myself if I only get one drink. Overall I do suggest giving this place a go because if you select the correct meal you will be obsessed because their meals are of consistent quality!
I've been here many times and consider it a local favourite. It is a bit of a weird experience and when compared with the vietnamese on Victoria Street comes in second on both taste and price - but first for novelty. The decor looks like it was installed in 1973 directly over the that of a greek restaurant. Think tacky asian over vine leaf wrapped columns.
Food is good and the menu has an amazing 'vegetarian meats' section of which some is good and some to be avoided. Do NOT order the vegetarian abalone hotpot unless you're doing it out of interest - it is weird. As is the side salad - iceberg lettuce, curled carrot and chilli. Totally out of place on an asian plate (and be careful as you might be tricked into thinking the chilli is red capsicum. It's not).
I give this the high rating because I find dining here entertaining on so many levels. It can get busy, service is friendly but can be slow at times.
Nice Vietnamese food in Frankston. The staff are helpful and the food is delicious. I've visited Nha Trang multiple times and have never been disappointed, however, I think you do have to know what to order here. We order the spring rolls, the sugar prawns and get the Vietnamese pancakes if they're available!!!
The place is tacky inside, sometimes the waiter or waitresses struggle with their English but the food? The food Is divine!! By far the best place for Viet in Frankston. The food is always amazing, dine in or take away.
Another favourite of ours in Frankston, this Vietnamese food is absolutely delicious. We have eaten in Victoria Street Richmond too and this would be right up there with the best of them.
Yep sometimes the service is a bit slow, we don't let that bother us!
This place is my favourite restaurant in Australia, it cannot be topped. The decorations are top tier, food fantastic & staff always so nice. I go here ~once a week. There is not a single other place that can top Nha Trang (Frankston) - not the place in Vietnam.
My recommendation: satay vegetarian layer pork
I only like to eat Vietnamese occasionally ,but they definitely have a great selection to choose from ,my meal was average but that's because I was not familiar with the food
This a great Vietnamese restaurant. You should go here! The staff were very helpful, polite and attentive. The restaurant looks great, they've gone to great detail to decorate the space and really give it an atmosphere. The dishes we tried were really great, fresh and hot and brought out quickly. The menu is extensive and everything sounded good. We will be back to try other things for sure.
Thanks a lot 👍
The food was amazing! So many vegetarian options and the mock meat tasted so real!
Service was great and very friendly staff.
Great pricing for food and drinks too.
wonderful restaurant, absolutely beautifully decorated and always super clean. the food was delicious and i would definitely come back again! service was so friendly and quick. :)
Staff were great and for vegetarians there are amazing options. Something I don't experience too often going out to eat. It was also very fairly priced!
