Sorry for the late review, was trying to find you via trip advisor but had some issues with that site or finding your actual premises.
Anyhow a few weeks ago we came in on a Thursday night for a special Bartercard meeting with our friends and found your place absolutely fantastic.
Service, food and atmosphere was great. I must add about the food though - cannot say it enough (the best butter chicken I have tasted in my whole life) it was not only colorful but splendid to taste and also the other dishes, pampadums, naan, rice, vegetarian dish, beef and vege dish and the desserts were just magnifico - well done to the whole staff at Indian Mahal. - we will be back again for sure...... !!!! Been an avid Indian food eater for many years and have to honestly say this is the best I’ve ever eaten, can’t believ I’ve driven past so many times will definitely be back very soon and bringing my friends with me also

The service was quick n efficient , we only ordered one meal with rice n two Nann bread

The food at this place is authentic and really delicious. The restaurant is spotlessly clean.
My partner and I shared a traditional Indian curry and chicken tikka with delicately flaoured white rice. The portion sizes were not huge but certainly ample.
We went there on a Thursday lunchtime. Sadly for the owner, with, and since Covid, the daytime bookings are still low, but he makes up for that at the weekend and offers a popular buffet lunch on Sundays.
The restaurant is set in a row of shops which are not particularly inspiring, and alongside a carwash and kebab shop which commandeer a large area of parking, so you need to park off to the right.
Don't be put off by any of this!
I made a phone order of two items to take away, onion bhaji and eggplant masala. the order was ready when I arrived.
They were both good. No complaints.
