Food and service is nice. View is beautiful.
On a sunny day, when we feel like a drive, we have gone to Fishermens Pier for lunch. We've never booked and have managed to get a seat (2 people) . This is great when planning is up in the air and you just feel like it in the day.
There isn't a particular dish I go there for. I've ordered different things off the menu and have gone for their specials too. I've enjoyed all dishes.
For our last trip, we had was the lobster: served half with butter / garlic sauce. The other half natural. When it was served, I regretted not doing the whole thing as garlic and butter though.
The wine list gets a double tick from me as hubby really likes a particular wine there.
Good little spot on the Geelong Waterfront. Started with the kingfish sashimi and scallops... massive serving of kingfish and was very fresh, scallops were small but had a nice buttery sauce and you got 6 for an entree which made up for the size. Had the lobster for main which was tremendous. Good size at 250g and with a slice of lemon was amazing... chips as a side were 10/10. Desert also quite nice. Restaurant was short staffed but the two girls did a good job
We had a lovely lunch at Fisherman's Pier! As o read in others' reviews, the service was great! We were served by a lovely waitress and waiter. I'm surprised the place wasn't busier during a Sunday lunch time! We ordered the entree sashimi with a side salad which was nice and fresh. Some of us shared the seafood platter which was really nice. The oysters Kirkpatrick were the best I've ever had and so flavoursome! Overall the presentation of food was great. The coffee was also really nice. We will be back again in the future!
