What a find! The “best” Beef Tatake we have ever had, even better than the Wife’s.
Unbelievable flavours in the Ramen’s, with the spice levels spot on. We will definitely be back, yum, yum, yum!
Had a fantastic experience in this place, we came in for lunch. The staff were very friendly, the food was amazing. Such a great place to go to.
I LOVED this ramen! if I was to rate this place on the ramen alone it would almost be a 5 - it’s just very tiny and squishy if I’m being picky. I ordered the spicy ramen level one and it was delicious. The broth was amazing - so thick and flavourful. It was topped off with a perfectly cooked egg and well cooked thin noodles + the pork belly was so tender and tasty. Best ramen I’ve ever had!! The staff were also very friendly as well. I look forward to my next visit :)

Here at Sober Ramen, the staff never cease to create a beautiful vibe making it a comfortable and truely enjoyable meal.
Had the curry udon and spicy ramen (level 2).
Really good ramen and udon for the area. The spicy ramen is not spicy but very flavoursome. Curry ramen was very delicious
Service was extremely welcoming.
Delicious vegan ramen and fried mushrooms. The staff are really helpful with letting us know what can be made vegan.
Only not giving five stars because the ramen was a bit overpriced.... And could do with some more things in them like more seaweed, some bamboo, some tofu, etc. But it was really yummy anyway.
I would also like to see vegan options clearly marked.
Really awesome, laid back ramen bar. Went there with my partner and partner’s siblings. The crumbed mushrooms were great (like salt n pepper squid for vegetarians), as were the pot prawn n chicken pot stickers & pork dumplings. A little nice range of Japanese beers & single malt whiskey, plus Australian wines. Service was quick and friendly with a cool funky vibe/music in the background. The ramen...man, it was beautiful. Such flavoursome, rich broth and the truffle really set it off👌 Great way to spend a few hours on a cold winters day...great food with great company.
Amazing Ramen! Soooooo much flavour and not watery and plain at all! I’m from Melbourne and have tried a lot of Ramen but this is my favourite Ramen place so far! Try the calamari on the specials it is crispy, spicy and delicious and I always order the pork Ramen with a rich broth.

Ramen bursting with flavours, dumplings are soft and juicy, crispy chicken crunches and flavour bursts in your mouth. This is one of our favourite ramen joints around. Sometimes you need to wait for a seat as the restaurant is quite small but it is definitely worth a visit. Matcha cocktails are amazing.
Went here on the recommendation of a colleague, and it was fantastic. I had the spicy ramen with a beautiful piece of char-grilled pork in spicy pork broth and refreshing lemon iced tea. I went with the medium level of spice which was about as hot as I'd want it to be. I was told afterwards it can go 3 levels higher than that if you're feeling adventurous. Service was friendly and the staff took time to explain the menu to me. The prices are a little higher than some other ramen eateries but the quality was worth it. I'll be back to try more things off the menu! It is a small venue so not good for big groups.
It was quite excellent food as found the similarity of what I had in Japan. Can tell the restaurant trying to follow right track serving good food, that's probably how the restaurant opend extra/new one in Torquay too. Just, it was quite pricy considering what I had, it's quite small portion.
Really good ramen place in Geelong! Ramen was tasty and spicy (you could choose your preferred level of spicy), but my personal favourite was saikyo scallops which were creamy with excellent umami, would definitely recommend! Just don’t expect too much from the service — after all this is a ramen joint!
We gave the menu a workout today at Sober and were not disappointed. Cocktails were scrummy too!! I'm too full and tipsy to write much more, I'll let the photos do the talking...
The ramen has always been great, never disappoints. The spicy calamari was amazing. The place is a bit small and gets packed when busy but the service has always been good.

Very busy and popular ramen place. The garlic one and spicy (lv1 is mild) are both super tasty. Taste way better than any other ramen store in Melbourne city. Also love beef tataki. Highly recommend!
