Great wine selection, good beats and they even let you pick a beer from next door (their bottle shop) if you’re not a big wine drinker! Really mixed crowd, lots of fun. Top notch service too

Good food selection, we had the selection plate. Delicious wine which was reasonably priced, funky bar and not too busy... At 3pm. Would go back.
Not a huge selection to just have a glass of wine & very overpriced. The 'hipsters' behind the bar thought they were pretty special and we weren't even offered a nibbles menu. While we were there they changed the pricing on a glass of wine from $9 to $14!! The idea behind the wine bar is great, the location is great, the set up is great, the pricing and the staff are not, they are trying too hard
What a find!. Found this gem of a place after a few hits and misses. They pretty much got all aspects of a wine bar right.

The staff are super friendly and very knowledgable about all the wine. Are happy to answer your questions and teach you about wines without making you feel stupid.
The good venue consists of deli meats, cheeses Etc which is exactly what you feel like with a glass of wine.

Unfortunately I dont live in the country anymore and cannot frequent Union Street Wine Bar .But I do miss the friendly and very professional staff who work there- so knowledgeable about wines and are passionate about the wine industry.
Simple set up with a bar and selection of wines in the rear, with excellent bar to sit around. The wine selection is curated to provide a diverse selection of local and not so local wines. Jam on and cheese is available to match your wine selection, and it’s best to speak to staff about what you’re after as they are friendly and know their trade very well. Check this place out when in Geelong if you enjoy your wine and cheese.

Cosy little wine bar with an exceptionally large range of wine, including both local and international drops. You can buy wine to drink in the venue or takeaway and their pricing system is very reasonable. The bar itself is comfortable and we received excellent advice on the wines. Will definitely be back for more!

Small but packs a punch. Lewis and Andy are great hosts. They attract a diverse range of people who appreciate the food, the wine selection advice and that special buzz of customers knowing they are somewhere special. We love the look of messy cheese, the image of food enjoyed! These cheeses are Australian, reinforcing that our makers are producing fine fromage. Our chacuterie platter on a busy Friday night was supurb.
