We had our daughters 21st birthday in the bistro last night. What a stunning room what lovely food but most of all what wonderful accommodating friendly helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble and the way they looked after all 60+ of us wasc truly amazing. I recommend this hotel and wonderful staff to anyonne whether you need something intimate or a large group. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you again to everyone at the Belmont for making our daughters 21st so perfect and unforgettable.

Had a wonderful meal last night and the service was outstanding!! At the time of booking our table they informed me that it would be busy and suggested to come 15mins earlier or later to avoid waiting too long for our meal. This was an excellent suggestion which no other restaurant I have been too has ever done! Thank you and I’ll recommend dining here to anyone who wants a great meal with great service ��

Dinner here tonight was delicious. Confit duck with plum, brocollini, polenta was just delicious with a lovely flavor some sauce. Staff were attentive and so very polite.

The Belmont hotel is a lovely 1920s art deco hotel, the staff are friendly and helpful, I ordered a rump steak which tasted very nice (but a bit expensive)

Yum! Had the burger and my boyfriend had the steak. Both great! Was looking at houses in the area and thought it would be cool to pop into a potential local and they didnt disappoint 😀

Great pub meal! We sat in the restaurant, braised beef cheek was bloody delicious not a bad word to say about it. Decked out like an old pub should be.. plenty of charm!

My partner and I had chicken parmi and creamy chicken pasta from the bar here. Overall, we are both happy with our meal, serving size for pasta was plenty for one person and it had lots basil. Only thing about chicken parmi (with veggie and potato mash) is that the veggies were only 2 carrot slices and zucchinis.

Dined here with a group of friends on what seemed a busy night, very prompt and friendly service. Meals came out quick and were delicious. I will be back for sure

Love love love this pub. My advise is don't go in the bistro part as it is expensive and not the best atmosphere. The best area is on the rooftop terrace with cheap but good quality pub fare!

YUM. My partner and I dined here on Friday night and the place was PUMPING! It was packed, both in the bar and the restauraunt. There was quite a wait for our food, but not overley as we were happy chatting and when I asked the waiter to check on our meals to see how far away they were, another waiter was coming out with two steaming hot plates which were ours. I had the Spaghetti marinara which was Delish! All the seafood was fresh and cooked perfectly. My partner had the Fennel saleted calamari which he destroyed! He said it was the best he'd ever eaten. Totally worth the wait!

We ate in the restaurant 2 weeks ago with a group of 8.
The service from staff was fantastic, a lovely girl called Bec recommended the chicken dish, it was hands down best meal I hAve eaten in Geelong in ages! Everyone loved their meals & excellent value for money!

Great Pub! Friendly staff, the bar meals are fantastic and really reasonably priced. My favorites are the calamari and the steak sandwich. Rooftop bar is lots of fun in good weather. Parmi night on Mondays is busy but worth a wait for a table.
