I've been eating here regularly since April. The bar staff are super friendly. I've had steak - the barramundi - the schnitzel - the other people I've dined with have had the kangaroo - the mixed grill - the rib eye. We have never had a bad meal. The owner (Carol) is lovely and last night we were politely asked if we would mind moving to a different table to allow for a large group of diners to sit together and upon doing so we were unexpectedly offered a couple of complimentary drinks. Great honest pub food.
Come to the Yardz quite often, tonight was exceptional. My partner had the 350g porter house medium. It was cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth. We pay a lot more at other places and this was much better. The Thai beef salad was sensational and my son loved his cheese burger. Staff was fantastic especially the guy behind the bar very fast and chatty. Little hint though if Geelong are playing the pub is in Geelong and don’t really expect to be told that there only playing the Essendon game. � did play both games in the end.

A really tasty and filling Parmi! Loved it! We sat in the bistro area to get that true pub feel. Service was fast and it was quite busy due to football being televised. Chicken was a good thickness and moist. Very nice ham and plenty of sauce. Chips were thick cut and cooked to perfection. Value for money was great. Mid priced Parmi left me full and content. Will be back soon
The service was excellent. The food was amazing and the serves were big. The salads were freshly made. The tables were a bit squashy though.
We ate in the bar and it was awesome pub grub and great service highly recommend for good food and a down to earth atmosphere. Kids ordered the parmie of the month which was Mexican and it was awesome, very generous serves.

Best meal in town. Amazing schnitzel and gravy; chips and mayo are to die for; salad dressing is the best in town.
Excellent food, great prices, extensive specials menu and ok service. Had the rump steak special for $17 was perfectly cooked, tender and quite large. the salad was great with a fantastic sweet balsamic dressing. FANTASTIC food.ONE COMPLAINT the music is extremely loud and creates the atmosphere that feels like you are out clubbing, other than that a great pub meal!
Went hunting a cheap feed on a Sunday evening in Geelong and who can pass up a cheap chicken parmigiana? Not disappointed at all. Ordered an Italian and Mexican parmi, and both were great, served with chips and fresh salad. Great quick, cheap feed. Very happy at the Yartz.
Hi Em just letting you know that I hadn't been to the yardz in ages. It has just changed hands and the food is amazing and good value. We will definitely be back.
Fantastic food. Large serves yet tasty and excellent value. The chef is called Tash and she was so good! Try and u will be back .
Nice separate restaurant with great pub meals. I love the under cover outdoor area, great for get togethers and parties!

The manager (I’m guessing team member was the manager?) was lovely! So helpful and hard working, made the lunch as good as it was!
The food was amazing and really hit the spot!
Highly recommend this spot for flat head tails and or their famous Parma’s!
Good sizes meal, wonderful friendly staff. Great pub to have a family meal. Rare find. Every Sunday is parmigiana night.
Love this place as my local, great food and atmosphere. Outdoor space out the back is perfect for large groups.
Good pub for a decent meal, they used to have better specials that are still on their FB page but they won’t honour them. Anyway, the parmy of the months is pretty good, as is the butchers block. And plenty of beers on tap

Excellent food and excellent service.
Special mention to Fei from the wait team. She was working flat out helping every table yet still went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our experience. Our son had a little moment and she took the time to play a role in rectifying.

Firstly the welcoming was overwhelming I took my sister and her boyfriend today to show my appreciation for
what my sister does for me the meals are value for money large well presented and delicious and my steak was cook perfectly amazing thank you Carol and the team
