We came here on the rainy and cold afternoon to have our very late lunch/early dinner.
Had a Aussie pizza, meat lovers, ravioli carbonara and spaghetti meatballs.
Pizza were good, generous topping and melted mozzarella cheese.
I loved the spaghetti meatballs, cooked al dente and the meatballs were yum with plenty of sauce.
Service was excellent, staff were friendly and very attentive. Will definitely come back again when we are in the area.
I came here for lunch along with my partner, they had amazing $10 lunch deals which is the perfect size to fill my appetite. My partner had the Marinara pizza and enjoyed it as well.
Must try their garlic bread which melts in your mouth and their chocolate mousse for dessert.
The staff was friendly and kept checking on us if we needed anything.
It's not just a cheap lunch, the chicken Caesar salad is absolutely delicious and my wife's chicken parmy was fantastic, nice thick chicken fillet, only thing it lacks is the restaurant isn't very inviting and quite cold
Food was great, service was fast. Probably the best customer service I've had in a restaurant. Didn't catch the waiter's name but, he deserves a promotion.
Probably one of the best la porchettas I've ever been to! The staff were very friendly and attentive and the food was amazing, we ordered off their specials menu and we were extremely impressed, the side sauce with the chicken delight was thick, cheesy and just perfect.
Easily the best La Porchetta restaurant in Geelong. The staff are always prompt, friendly and attentive and the food is always perfect. Great night out for the family as everyone always leaves satisfied. My one suggestion would be to ensure the sauce portions are always equal dish to dish as sometimes one dish will have a lot of sauce and one will have a lot less. Otherwise, wonderful.
Best La Porchetta restaurant I've visited! Love the staff, very friendly and prompt service. The food always exceeds expectations, the meals sizes are more than generous and the desserts are to die for. One of my favourite restaurants in Geelong, menu has a big variety of pizzas, pastas, seafood, steaks, chicken etc.. great place to dine at with a group because there is something for everybody !
Understand where you are.. It never ceases to amaze me how people hold these family restaurants to such high standards. They provide a service at a price. I found this place OK and thats all I expected. some of you sound dissapointed that they didnt have a wine steward! Its a lot like complaining about budget air lines, twenty years ago it was too expensive to fly and it was also too expensive to EAT OUT! Restaurants were scant and few and far between, particularly in the burbs and almost non existent in regional areas. The Pie shop usualy ran out by lunch and closed at 4pm. Most people in their 40s plus would remember this. I am not suggesting we eat rubbish either. All I have to say is if you require fine dining, dig deeper. I appreciate these franchise set ups for what they are and walk in with my eyes open!
We love it. its a great place to have lunch or dinner kid friendly. nice service and generous meals. we live in brisbane and visit family at least 5 times a year. we always have a family get together at la porchetta. we are going this month for a sat lunch with 25 of us. looking forwatd to it. keep up the good service!!!!!
I like this place for a cheap lunch. The food is generous and reasonably priced. Service is mediocre, it's not bad but it's not good either.
