My wife and l had a Classic Pack each for lunch and decided to eat just outside on an outdoor table which overlooked Port Phillip Bay on a glorious winters day. Flake made fresh was amazing. Silky smooth that just melted in my mouth. Potato cakes pre pared in the morning were the best l have had anywhere. The Dim Sims were the standard ones and tasted amazing. Chips crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. Just how they should be. Must be the fresh oil used.
Both packs for $37.80 for the quality of the meal was a bargain.
Will visit again. Highly recommended if your in Geelong.

Quirky venue located floating on the waterfront at Geelong with great views out over the water, especially on a sunny weekday like when I visited.
Only parking available is paid, at $3.25 per hour for a maximum of 3 hours. Almost 100% you will get a ticket for overstay or non payment.
It was a bit cold for us to sit out on the balcony to really enjoy the waterfront views, so we grabbed a table inside.
At an early lunch on a weekday it was almost empty, but by the time we were finishing at around 1:00pm, it was quite busy.
They seemed to be short staffed, which is very common at many eateries, with COVID rampant at the moment, (July 2022).
We had a piece of grilled fish and a flake pack which had a huge serve of chips, a large piece of battered flake, Potatoe cake and a dim sim.
I was shocked that yet another Aussie fish and chip shop doesn't have PICKLED ONIONS!!
Seems to becoming a thing lately, much to my disappointment.
Unfortunately the flake although tasty and moist had a rather thin batter which wasn't really crispy and the potatoe cake seemed to be a commercial processed one with a texturless Potatoe, and very thin, not crispy batter.
My wife's grilled fish was cooked wrapped in alfoil and was more like a piece of steamed rather than grilled fish and very small.
We have eaten here before and food was of a much higher standard.
Maybe staff shortage? I don't know.
We will eat here again as the views and atmosphere are great, which is why it's 4, instead of 3 stars.
Hopefully this was an anomaly as we do love this place.
This place hits a bit different. You will not be disappointed. Had a great lunch there. They also serve alcohol.
Had lunch here with my wife and the food was ocean fresh, crispy, piping hot and delicious!!!
Before ordering I questioned if the flake was gummy as a lot of fish and chip shops do not serve gummy as flake and use a substitute. The owner was behind the counter and assured me it was gummy.
Not long after ordering and eating, the husband and wife owners came over and asked us how our meal was. We told them that the fish was superb and the meal was great.
We recommend this place to anyone who is visiting or living in Geelong and will definitely visit again when in the area.

Food was fresh and hot. Seafood was definitely the freshest I've had in Melbourne. A lunch pack is a perfect size to get full on for 1. Worth every buck and will eat here again in future.
Recently wernt passed here and decided to check the place out. Great location which was over looking the water. Good variety of fish to offer. Food was good, average prices to some other fish and chip places I have been too. Pleasant, friendly service. Not too busy the time i went. Worthwhile to check out at least once .
