The seafood platter was amazing! Very generous serving for two, the lobster with garlic butter was stunning. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Loved it, will definately be back.

We came here for dinner, it's a nice restaurant with beautiful decorated interior. We were seated next to a harp player who was playing music all night. It was a mellow and relaxing edition to the evening. Really enjoyable!
We ordered the Aquarius signature seafood platter, it was lovely, the seafood was fresh and it was cooked nicely. The ambience really stood out for me, it was really relaxing and cosy, yet kept a sense of sophistication.
The staff were also friendly and brought the food to us in a short time frame.
Overall it was a very pleasant experience!
Went for lunch Easter Sunday. Seafood plater for two was simply amazing. No fried food. All grilled to perfection. Service was spot on. Can't fault it and highly recommend the seafood platter.

I came here for a work lunch and had a 3 course meal - calamari for entrée, salmon for main and cherry cheesecake for dessert. The calamari and salmon were delicious. Calamari cooked very well and salmon had a crispy skin and tasty sauce. Unfortunately, the cheesecake was a let down. Not enough flavour and more coconut than cherry. The service was very good and fast, considering we had 15 people.

$77 groupon voucher. This voucher was definitely worth it. Started of with entrees of mussels and fried calamari which were delicious . The sauce for the mussels were Devine and the calamari was soo soft.
This was followed by the bbq seafood plate each. There was octopus , squid, prawns , scallops and fish. Everything was soo tender , full of flavour and most importantly all fresh seafood ! Cooked to perfection and couldn't be happier . This was accompanied by a bottle of wine.
Service was friendly, but the downside as a previous review mentioned was the decor. Inside looked to squashy, a little stuffy and full. It was a hot day so we sat outside. There were cobwebs on the planter boxes near us, and a large long table of about 15 kids from the adjacent thai restaurant. Also we got Bitten by mossies .
In Addition inside the aquarias restaurant there were kids running around, Opening and closing the large glass doors.
I understand it is a kid friendly restaurant, but kids running around in a fine dining restaurant certainly brings the restaurant down and you don't get that full fine dining experience. While there was piano music, there were no candle on a Saturday night?
Food is 10/10 and I will definitely home back. Atmosphere and ambience is lacking and I give it 2/10.
The best calamari we have ever eaten. Two of us had lunch there today. Firstly let me say the negative - the decor is bland and stark - that is the ONLY negative.
We both had calamari as an entrée followed by garlic butter whole lobster for mains.
Like the title says we have NEVER had calamari that was SO tender!!! You didn't need a knife, you could cut it with your fork.
The lobster was also nice but we has been spoilt by the 10 from 10 calamari and could only rate the lobster a very creditable 8 from 10. Service was superb and they got a good tip because of that. Recommended.
Came here for a small birthday dinner. We had the seafood tower. It is a very good portion, the calamari was one of favourites, the oysters were fresh and nice! We even had some nice cute cocktails. Would love to come back on another day and sit by the window/river.
Went for Christmas lunch and had the seafood platter. Everyone really enjoyed their seafood and the service was friendly and attentive. It's old school seafood done very well. The decor is a bit dated and the tables were a little squashy, but neither of those things detracted from the food which was cooked really well and was very fresh. Will be back.
Aquarius is located in an obscure location but they've been here for ages so people know them so it does get packed out! We booked ahead for a table of 5 at 6pm on a Saturday night. Was at about half capacity on arrival but over the course of an hour the whole restaurant was filled up pretty quick. Every table order at least one seafood platter. We order the seafood platter for three plus 2 extra pastas for the 5 of us. Everyone was full and we even had left over pasta to take home. Although delicious it was a bit on the pricey side for the quantity and variety, doesn't seem value money. But it's semi fine-dining so I guess that's what we're paying for. Staff are friendly and polite!
We had a large family group for a birthday lunch and stuffed ourselves silly on the hot and cold seafood platters. The platters were huge, with 1/2 lobster, 1/2 Morten Bay bug, 2 oysters, 2 fresh prawns, a huge amount of calamari, octopus, barramundi, BBQ King prawns, chips, salad - I've missed something but you get the picture - it was a generous and complete platters. The oysters were super fresh, the lobster sauces flavourful, the barramundi cooked to perfection (moist, crispy skin on eat portion, delicious flavour), would highly recommend if you are after a special meal.
Then the servers - they were absolutely lovely! Attentive but not overbearing, managed our handful of a group with ease and kindly offered a spare table, some paper and pencils to occupy the smaller kids in the group who ate fast and got bored.

Attended a belated Christmas Party on Tuesday night. We were a group of 16 & although the food was delicious there was a small issue of not being able to buy drinks from the bar as only one till being used. It was suggested that individuals put cash into a bowl. Most people don't carry cash in todays cashless society. We has a lovely attentive waitress, I think her name was Chelsea. I would recommend as a very enjoyable evening
This restaurant is one of the best one we ever been to. All the staff and the owner were super welcoming and incredibly flexible and so organised! I requested a small birthday surprise party and literally they organised everything and every single details they did not miss out. Such beautiful with warm heart people I've even met! The view of restaurant and the atmosphere are amazing, made us feel really comfortable and happy. On the top of that the foods and the desert are 7 stars above! so tender and juicy! Please be mindful of that you must try their desert platter, no need to bring your own cake! ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! highly strongly recommend this restaurant! We are definitely going back and already miss the food, atmosphere and everything! Million Thanks again for making such a wonderful day. Sydney needs people like you guys!!! XOXO!!! I still cannot thank you guys enough :)
