Walkaway was one of the best country pubs ive been to for a long time. People were very friendly & helpful. Beautiful outside area with a large open fire very well setup.

The food is AMAZING and the service is grand. Real family feel. Fire pit at the back in the winter as well as the comfortable feeling with the fire place inside sets it off

Wow, what a fantastic Country establishment! A friendly reception from the Manager / owner from behind the bar. The building is a well preserved 1907 tavern with a great outback feel. The beers are cold and the food is exceptional. If you are looking for great food and an outback bar experience where you feel welcome, forget the larger town fare and checkout Walkaway. This is a must visit establishment for those looking for a genuine outback country reception.
