Of the dishes we tried the food was decent but a little sweet for my personal taste. They have signature dishes which we will have to try another time. Restaurant was full on a Saturday night which is a good sign. It's licensed but you can bring your own wine. Service was good considering the capacity crowd, staff were friendly and accommodating. Ambiance suited the mood. Seating is wooden stools which can be a bit hard for older people. Prices were reasonable, many choices in the menu.

If you want to eat a delicious bao, this is the right place to visit. The quality of the food and the mixture of Asian flavours you can find, make this place one of my preferred options when eating out. I'm not much into desserts, but their fried ice cream is absolutely awesome. And you can also BYO, which makes it even better. I definitely recommend Lane 198!

Absolutely delicious food, came here with low expectations during a stroll. Miso Corn, Sweet and sour chicken, both are highly recommended! And excellent service too!
