Went there on Saturday night for my grandparents 65th wedding anniversary and had the greatest service that I've ever had with a large party. She really nailed every aspect of serving perfectly, from the orders, separating checks, accommodating children, prompt drink orders and refills, getting everyone's custom food orders right, everything! I would say I've been served many times with a party that size by multiple servers and she had it down on her own better than any team of servers. The food was also excellent as well! Very impressed to come from the big city restaurant scene and get such five-star food and service in Aberdeen! Great work and would definitely recommend for any large parties! Thanks for making the anniversary party a success. :)
Love this place for lunch (steak special) & favorite place to take my wife for supper! Best steaks in Aberdeen by a landslide! No comparison!
Beautiful meal, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. We stopped in for a home made pie that was delightful and well priced ($6.50). We enjoyed it so much that we grabbed a brownie for the road which was just as good. There was also a nice clean bathroom making it a perfect pit stop. Highly recommended!
Very nice home cooked style food and a nice coffee. Also very friendly staff too.
This is a great place to stop and refuel on a road trip. I've stopped here a few times when travelling the New England Highway as the options are limited on that stretch and I'm not into fast food outlets. You'll get good honest food and very friendly service. There is good variety on the menu for brekky or lunch, plus really yummy cakes/muffins that you can grab to take on the road for later.
We stopped for a late lunch and what a great place, good selection of food, gluten free options which we appreciated. Large enough to get a table but not so large for “bus tourists” so service coffee thick shakes food all very good, highly recommended for a stop. Good sized parallel parking bays along the street. It’s worth a stroll along both sides of the street. Buildings have been well maintained the town is credit to all who live there.
Been here two days in a row and on previous visits to Glen Innes. Each time I order a simple poached eggs and it's always delicious- they include a homemade chutney and some rocket with balsamic. Today I wasnt so hungry so I was able to order 1 egg and 1 toast and it still came with the garnish. They are really nice and I'll be coming back.
Literally the only cafe open in Glen Innes for a Sunday breakfast, and what a delightful find it was! Absolutely delicious home cooked meals, very reasonably priced, happy staff and brisk service. Couldn't ask for more and would highly recommend.
Stopped in at this little café for breakfast on our way through Glen Innes and absolutely loved it! The food was delicious and not at all expensive. Service was fast and friendly and the atmosphere was fantastic too. Definitely making this a regular stop for future travels!
You know you are at a good cafe when you see the local police, national parks and Rual Fire come in for there breakfast and morning coffee as well.
I had the Big bacon and egg burger and my son had a pancake, both were fantastic.
Coffee was good as well.
