Family treat (whole chicken, Greek salad, family chips) and family dinner (whole chicken, coleslaw replacing 8 potatoes, peas and gravy).
The chicken was succulent, skin was to die for and the stuffing is about 200% better than that of supermarket roast chicken.
Chips are seasoned perfectly, not the crispiest but still good.
Salads were standard - Greek had a decent amount of feta, tomato and olives. The coleslaw was lighter in flavour than other joints, but it did make me feel as though it was less sugar and mayo-filled than a typical fast food joint. This was a plus given the fatty and juicy chicken which needed a bit of contrast from lighter salads.
The lady running this joint is incredibly genial and accommodating to modifying orders, service speed at 7:15PM was not slow or fast, just reasonable, but I will say that prices are great for the serving sizes! The family chip sizing is huge, and they really fill large salad containers to the brim, with the plastic lid almost bursting open.
Fresh hot chips always and quality of food is always great.
Very good value meal deals and friendly owners. Recommend parking opposite close to Dan Murphy and walking over.
