Market on Maxwell is a lovely little cafe, which I've visited on a few occasions. The banana smoothie is delicious - it's thick, creamy and has a really lovely sweet banana flavour. The other drinks - milkshakes, hot chocolate and coffees are also lovely! As for the food, it's so nice to have a sandwich/roll/wrap made freshly to your individual order. Pricing is slightly expensive, but you know you're paying for fresh, quality produce. Staff are always friendly, which contributes to a happy and peaceful cafe atmosphere! I look forward to my next visit!

This is a charming, quaint cafe that is unique and special in the way in which all customers are made to feel welcome and appreciated. Depending on which day or time you visit, it is a hive of chatter and activity, offering one the option of outdoor or indoor seating.They have a great varied selection of cakes, amongst other meals,and the coffee is fantastic. It is an absolute gem.
This family run cafe is by far the most genial and best run cafes in the whole area of Glenelg! Our walking group frequent this spot every Monday and other times apart from the group. The service is second to none and nothing is ever a trouble for the wonderful staff. one feels as though we are visiting good friends, when we call in.The cafe itself is always clean and the food served is delicious! No challenge for them is too great. We love it! Good family atmosphere, as well as a mostly quiet spot in which to conduct a small business meeting over a coffee.
The staff are so friendly, good teas and nice coffee. Nice range of baked goods and delirious hot sandwiches. A popular local spot for a morning hot drink and toastie. Just don't expect eggs and a fry up - the only dishes available are the range of sandwiches and the pre-made dishes and baked goods. But you won't be left hungry with the options available.
First time visit with 3yo grandson and we loved this cafe. Good books and space for littles. Close to tram stop to make it a very enjoyable outing. Coffee and menu choices terrific.
Very good service. Very clean eating area. Coffee excellent. Plenty of parking accross the road. Friendly staff and greeted with a smile. Away from other shops/ a bonus.
No complaints. They do what they do well. Just don't expect a trendy crowd. If you're on the heavy grey side of retired, this is your place! Coffee is 👍
