Food was scrumptious, wine perfect. I can highly recommend the Pan-seared Barramundi, slow cooked rump and wild boar ragu, the sparkling chardonnay was divine, service was perfect too, great setting for our family outing.

There’s one cellar door I have visited twice already here in Gippsland and that’s Narkoojee in Glengarry. From Sale it’s about a 40-minute drive, however, it’s only about 15 minutes from Traralgon town centre (which makes it about 2 hours from the Melbourne CBD). I was so impressed with the cellar door tasting I had on the first visit that Mr Spittoon and I made sure we went back for lunch shortly after.
We have had nothing but great feedback from all who attended our event which was held in the barrel room at the vineyard. The food was outstanding. Rarely will there be such a high standard of meals with a function of that number – the chicken that was perfectly cooked, and the proper coffee was nice touch, as were the share salads and amazing crunchy roasted potatoes.
The service staff were spot on – not once was my water empty nor my napkin not folded if I left my seat.

Amazing! The chefs continuously refresh there menu and really try some interesting pairings with there menu that mostly pay off. This place is the peek of my summer and spring Sunday afternoons. Grazing the day and accompanied with Chardonnay by there neighbour winery narkoojee. Outlooking the landscape really highlight what Gippsland offers!
Stand out Italian inspired menu that is very well executed. The kitchen understands the Italian pallette of flavours and menu logic. Very consistent. ☺
AMAZING. Came for lunch and left with a very happy stomach. A seasonal menu which makes the richness of the local produce the hero. Attentive and relaxed service in a beautiful environment. Cannot wait for the spring menu!
Lovely setting. Good attentive service. The only problem we had was deciding what to order. All the pasta dishes looked and tasted delicious, and the roast chicken roulade was spot on. Perhaps it would be nice to have some wine and food pairing suggestions on the menu. This way they could make more of the fact it is a winery with great food rather than a restaurant with a single vineyard wine list.

I really enjoyed dining here, we came for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The place has class and soul. I found the food to be of excellent quality and it is obvious that a lot of thought has gone into the preparation. Service was attentive and prompt. My only qualm is about the noise: there is zero drapery and the polished concrete floors, bare walls and non-upholstered chairs make for a very echoey, empty house-like sound. Once the restaurant filled up I found myself having to raise my voice to be heard. I would suggest that some plain white curtains, left open, would not subtract from the decor or gorgeous view of the vineyards, but would help enormously with sound absorption, thereby reducing the stress of holding a conversation! Nevertheless, I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to others.
Enjoyable lunch. Great lunch today, had the Pico pasta for main and loved it. Others had a selection of pizza and another pasta dish, all meals were fresh and very tasty. Staff friendly, wine superb and the deserts mmmmmm. Will be back.

As a Marriage Celebrant, I have officiated weddings here and have found the staff wonderful and the outdoor setting very pretty. As a wet weather contingency, the indoor areas for a wedding vary a bit. The barrel room can be set up very nicely, but if they are bottling or putting freshly crushed wine into barrels, it may not be available, only leaving the outdoor verandah, which is very space limited.
The Lily Grace is to die for, as is the Sparkling Harriet.
The Francis Rd Shiraz is lovely as well.
Best winery in Gippsland.

Dads quail entree was the only disappointment a little over cooked
I think this is one of the best wineries I've ever been to. All of the wines we tasted were absolutely, out-of-this-world delicious. And the guy taking us through the tasting was really knowledgable and passionate.
Cannot recommend this place highly enough!
