Spent the afternoon at The Rooftop Bar . Food was top notch ! We had the cheese platters . Both great with a large selection of goodies . Ended up staying for dinner and having the burgers . Everyone loved them ! Even the shoestring fries were delicious with spicy aioli. Going back soon to enjoy the Sunday afternoon music and great views !
We went with for our wedding anniversary table for four great service given by a lovely young lady, on her first night. All of us enjoyed every dish presented and the complimentary dessert was “yummy” Thank to Shane and all his staff your great for the top end of the coast . �cheers
Our first time and it was an absolute delight from the greeting at the front door to the fabulous service from the moment we arrived at our table. The wine list was amazing and the food was absolutely sensational as we took our daughter and son there and they love food and our daughter is an amazing cook, my husband said the oysters are the best he has ever eaten. Well done to the Owners and the staff we had an amazing night and can’t wait to try the bar and the more relaxed atmosphere upstairs but we will be back as it was an amazing evening with wonderful fresh and flavour some food.
First place I've found top grade Wagyu steak.
Food was excellent. Loved the decor. And our server Emylee was fantastic.
Had a delightful dinner. Service was excellent and enjoyed the setting. Our table ordered a combination of main meals and 1 steak. While steak was delicious (5/5) they don’t really come with anything so paying $30-45 for a piece of meat is a little pricey when you have to order 2 sides for one person if you want potato and a veg (it’s a $60 main). The rooftop is lovely and I would definitely go back again to hang out there.
Very nice atmosphere at the Rooftop Bar, friendly staff, everyone smiling ☺ and everyone was very welcoming. Waiter was fast and professional with the charming smile and waitress was nice too.
Drinks was really good quality and tasty.
Design of the place is very unique and we liked it a lot. Music was also very nice and make us feel very comfortable and relaxed.
We didn't order any food, because it was our first visit just to have couple of drinks and to check the place, but definitely will be back for dinner soon.
I would recommend this place to my friends and everyone else who would like relaxing atmosphere with an ocean view.
The food here was absolutely amazing. It is on the expensive side, but felt very worth it. The salmon was delicious, the steak actually melted in my mouth, and the lobster tail was excellent. My partner and I were way too full to try desserts, but it is on the list for next time. The service was nice, we went on a weeknight and it was very quiet. I must note - I have only been to the restaurant dining part, not the rooftop bar. However, there were still many drinks on offer in this part. We had a great experience and can’t wait to go back.
One of the best meals I've had on the coast to date! Amazing food, ambiance and staff. Made for a beautiful evening, and I will definitely be a regular back here (& might stop missing Melbourne's gastronomic delights)!
We enjoyed a lovely dinner at Gotham Grill and Rooftop Bar tonight, dining in the restaurant.
Mum enjoyed the Lamb special which was deliciously tender and accompanied by a beautiful potato salad. My porterhouse steak was cooked perfectly, I ordered the potato gratin as a side which was a great choice. My daughter loved her tasty fish and chips.
Ambiance was lovely with lighting dimmed around 6:30pm, the Gotham theming tasteful and fun. The attention to detail throughout the design was really great.
Service was attentive and friendly, both team members looking after our table were excellent.
Overall we really enjoyed our evening and when back up from Melbourne next time we will make a point of returning.
Highly recommended.
