Great customer service. I ordered through Doordash and one order was missing. So I immediately called the shop and they were apologetic. Since I can't pick it up, they sent one of their staff to deliver the missing item to my home. Ordered the Christies Pack - fish is firm and tasty. Not a fan of the seafood stick but the rest of the items in the pack are tasty. Though fries can be improved to avoid getting soggy.

Chips were OK. The standard has dropped tremendously. The ratings are out of date. It must have changed ownership. Below par, soggy battered fish, nothing fresh or crispy at all. Fish was not fresh nor the calamari. The worst fish and chips I've had in a very long time. We will not be back, the owners should watch some YouTube cooking videos and improve their batter and freshness. Overall 1.5 stars... the extra 0.5 because of the chips and real lemons. If you want good fish and chips try fish's fish market at Newstead or the spotted cod, Everton park.

Shame Christies, I’ve just been delivered fish, chips and burgers for my family. It’s Friday night and I’ve been looking forward to it all day! Really who delivers burgers with bacon but without the burger ? … I ordered grilled fish, it was dry, tasteless and uninspired ! Clearly it was not even fresh, and frozen to start with. Usually I’m extremely satisfied with your fish, chips and burgers but this time it left a lot to be desired. Your standards are slipping and next time I’d prefer McDonald’s ! That’s saying something.

Now everything is Asian served.. everything is microwaved cooked , and then dipped in the fryer..
I can see the microwave food quality since the Asians started there 🤔🤔🤔

Tried it based on the positive reviews and rating. Crumbed barramundi seemed somewhat soggy on the outside but kind of dry inside. Chips became oddly hard and chewy once they cooled down. Calamari was ok but again dry. Sorry but not rushing back here again.

Ordered through Doordash. Seafood was really good. Enjoyed fish, calamari, prawn cutlets and chips. They forgot the tartare sauce with the order but that was the only negative. Definitely order from there again.

Frozen chicken burger from what looks like Coles and tastes worse ( not even sure how thats possible ), extra bacon is literly one slice I would highly advise against getting a burger from these guys there seafood is shocking aswell. For a fish n chip shop I'm actually shocked at the quality of good only thing they serve that's remotely good is there chips .

How do you rate a shop that is just plain and simply an old fashioned, suburban takeaway. Really highly. Nothing fancy, great burgers and fish n chips. I ordered online and when I arrived there was about 15 people waiting, when I left with my order there was still around 15 people waiting. All local, line moved fast and the service was great.

These guys used to have the best, and I mean THE BEST chips ever. I have no idea what happened? I stopped coming because the chips were no longer the same crunchy bright yellow ones I used to get. If they bring those chips back I would be over the moon. Also, their deep friend milky bars are to die for.

Pretty standard fish and chip shop food, cooked really well. Great calamari and really good crispy chips. The guy at the counter was excellent and the food came out quickly. We'll definitely be back.

Excellent Chipper!! Best in Brisbane. Great reasonable prices and huge portions. The decor has a little to be desired but hey, thats why its a take away! 😝 Coleslaws a must try as well.

Poor attitude. I will never return as a customer. After the 'EMPLOYEE' behind the counter decided it wasn't in her interest to allow me to order from the menu ( It was a 10 min wait) after she filled a large order. Here is some advice Christies, YOU ARE A PATHETIC EXUSE FOR A TAKEAWAY SHOP. STOP TRYING TO BE ONE!!

Disappointing. We love in the neighbourhood. Fish was no good. So stopped buying this, as other selections were pretty good. Unfortunately chips tonight were stale!! Will not buy from here again, which is a shame, as I prefer to support local business.

Good old fashioned burgers, fish and chips...... Love this place - we drive from Paddington, after placing a phone order. Their burgers, fish, chips and potato scallops are always good. Like the ones we used to get as kids in the 70s and 80s - yum!<br/><br/>I hate this place on Monday nights - they're closed!

Very average, used to be good but new owners have taken over and now its got the title of the worst fish and chips I've ever had. Chips tasted old and the oil they use for the fish tasted dirty. Potato scallops weren't as good as they used to be and just not up to scratch. All in all very disappointed.

Best Potato Scallops. We had fish, chips, a burger and potato scallops. The fish and burger were good. The chips were OK - have had better. Their potato scallops were the best. The are the real kind, with real potato. Not those horrible frozen ones. And, like the good old fashioned fish & chip shop, if they aren't big enough, the give you a couple extra. Yummo

Fish n Chips, burgers, etc. This is a fish n chips type shop just a short walk down from the nearby Emergency Services Complex. Seems to be quite popular (perhaps since it's so close) with people from the complex. Service was fairly quick even when they were swarmed with a group of SES trainees on the Saturday that I visited. My chicken burger came out no more than about 5 minutes after placing the order. The food was nothing to rave about but no complaints either.
