Perfect in every way. Who are these chefs? Seriously they make a difference to me. I regularly eat at pubs and there's always something not quite right...especially the quality of cooking, which is what I and others will remember most. Food can be simple but if cooked!! exquisitely...nothing could compare. Well done. Lovely staff too! Prices reasonable. I'm impressed.
Dined here again today with 25 others. As usual the food was fabulous. It isn't very often you can order a medium rare steak in a pub and it is cooked to perfection. Nice to see the veggie bar/salad bar back and the veggie bar in particular was fantastic. No overcooked grey cauliflower here. Big kudos to the chef. The waitresses were amazing. The food was delivered promptly and no wrong orders were received. Dishes were cleared quickly, definitely great teamwork. The dining room was packed yet everyone was served promptly with the minimum of fuss. Well done everyone, we will be back.

Food is well priced and good quality/quantity. Love the sides bar with bread, salads, vegetables.
Kids food comes in cute little boats.
Dessert were good but the sundae was another level!!!!

My husband & I called in for lunch but unfortunately the kitchen had closed 5minutes earlier. The wonderful waitress checked with the kitchen staff to see if they could still put a meal together for us. We had a few options and the food, salad bar and hot vegetables were so fresh and delicious. All the staff we encountered were so helpful and some of the happiest people we have come across!
Great pub to have a good meal at an affordable price ,good size meal with an all u can eat salad and vegy bar.
Also so has daily" special "meals at a lower price. Will certainly patronize this venue when is the area.

The Goolwa Hotel is the best place for a great meal.
I didn't think we'd ever get the salad and vegetable bar back after Covid hit, but YES, it's back!
The choice of salads and vegetables is enough to keep everyone's tastebuds happy, and even though I love my salads, I always seem to fill my plate with the vegetables.
The lunch specials are very good value at $12, with a good selection of four or five choices.
For me, it's all about that salad and vegetable bar...
Had a lovely roast pork and apple crumble meal deal all for $14. Partner had the roast beef and apple crumble and thoughly enjoyed it. Beautiful fresh salad bar, hot vegies and salads with fresh bread. Staff were friendly and curtious. Will go back again. 😄👍
Called in for lunch had the $12 roast beef and it was beautiful tender. Lovely buffet veg and salad bar.
Sevice was great as well.
