Four stars for a Mecca's, it is open 24 hours the service is always quick. It is a small store but always seems to be on top on service, cleaning and efficiency. It has three ordering machines and a McCafe. The toilets are downstairs and are kept in reasonable condition.
Decent service and prices. Pretty quick as well despite having a number of people waiting as well. Standard McDonald fare. But every time I go to get a meal, their chips have been really fresh indicating a pretty quick turnaround.
Gordon McDonald’s? More like Gordon Ramsey! Naturally, the meal was delectable, but I was today particularly enamoured with my chip packet. I noticed that once I had done big gobbles on my chippies, the ghost of my eating experience lingered. Thank you to the visual design team for printing the symbolic fries on the inside of the packet. It has taught me a valuable lesson in gratitude – meditating on that which I once had (chippies), whilst keeping my sights firmly planted on the future, and all the good in store ( more chippies). I, myself, am from an art background, and therefore I know that it is the true task of art to immortalise the transient, the billowing of clouds in a passing storm, a brittle minute of real humanity in a gulag, and the yet to be eaten McDonalds fries. The advertising team have done this for me today. Thank you. They should also rename this Maccas, Mecca, on account of it being the holiest of fast food chains. Love and light.
