The Central Coast is famous for its nature, the beaches, fun, adventure and its laid back lifestyle. We do enjoy a day trip, for it is only about an hour away from Sydney, or even better a weekend away to explore. We are always keen to try out a new cafe or restaurant when in the region, and that’s just what we did at Bon Pavilion. Though i’m sure this will remain on our return list, for it is, without a doubt one of the best regional restaurants we’ve visited.

Gosford can elicit a bit of cultural cringe from Coasties who would rather be identified with prettier parts of the Central Coast. Australian business legend, John Singleton, is set to change all that with The Bon Pavilion. You’ll find his new restaurant on the main street of Gosford – a stone’s throw from the waterfront – at the base of his new 14-storey, luxury development, Bonython Tower.Singleton is no stranger to the Central Coast, with luxury accommodation Bells at Killcare and Pretty Beach House, and glamour bakehouse, Saddles at Mount White, in his extensive portfolio. While Singleton’s second luxury tower in Gosford, Ravello Residences, is busily making record price sales off the plan, the entrepreneur already has his eyes upon making the surrounding area attractive to his new high-end residents. To help his new Coasties avoid unnecessary ninety-minute drives between Gosford and Sydney, Singleton has installed executive chef Sean Connolly at Bon Pavilion. I’ve been a fan of Connolly’s cooking for...
Great atmosphere, venue and run very efficiently. Entree Focaccia was great. Mains were good, lentil dish could use rice or bread with it. High cost for the spaghetti dish, which is quite simple. Desserts were amazing. Cocktails were also well presented.
Excellent food. Excellent service. Excellent place to eat. We had the eye fillet and the salmon, they delicious and were cooked to perfection. For dessert we had the special and the sticky date pudding. They also had an excellent wine list. We had a glass of the 2017 San Lorenzo Montepulciano
Beautiful interior. Really nice place to go for dinner out. Service is attentive which makes you feel special. Obviously more expensive than usual coast restaurant but think you pay too for the nice environment and atmosphere (for me I really appreciate a nice setting). Been twice so far and we enjoyed both times and the meals we had. I liked the rainbow trout they used to do. Excited to see updates when they reopen.
Awesome place to stop by for a feed or drink when you're in Gosford City. They have a nice dining area in booths, chilled lounge area, and a Sports Bar. Really stylish and relaxing, catering to those looking for a quick cold drink while waiting for a bus, or a more substantive meal.
850g kingfish tail was grilled to perfection and complemented well with a white wine and lemon sauce. Prawns in the spaghetti were also fresh and delicious. Great service!
Great gastronomic and service experience, worth the wait for patronage; gold for Gosford. Recommend kingfish; cooked to perfection with a beautiful fusion of flavours and textures...would have to say the best seafood dish ever eaten and there has been many; right here in our own backyard! roast chicken described as 8/10; desserts (blackberry mousse and cheesecake selection, decadent) with mocktails a great starter; waitress welcoming, bright, and attentive, timings perfect...great evening 16/3/2022...we will be back and highly recommend.
