Had a fantastic Sunday dinner. The chef recommended octopus and veal steak. We were blown away by the flavours and quality of the dishes. I also enjoyed a superb tripe dish that was just like the one I had in Milan years ago. Service was fantastic, super friendly and we were treated like family. Love the location with the panoramic windows.
The food was absolutely amazing. And the staff were so friendly. I have nothing negative to say except we don't live in Goulburn so we can't eat there as often as I'd like.
We thought this place was going to be so bad because it was only 50% on urbanspoon but we were road tripping and had to eat we got there and it was super cute and so authentic food was great and so was the service and we are food snobs from melbourne and thought this place was great!! Awesome vibe too and was x mas day
We shared an extraordinary meal together; 3 entrees, 2 mains and would recommend the menu to anybody. This place deserves a full house every night. Thank you, we will be back!
DELICIOUS, I highly recommend for you, for your family and friends to go to LaCasa. tasty entrees delicious mains and to die for deserts. Any one looking for great Italian meal should definitely go to LaCasa
Fine Dining. Great service & the best tasting Italian food i have ever tasted
Highly recommend 5 STARS
Lovely warm decor, really friendly people, good food (leaving now, I can hardly walk). Good times all round for locals or passing through.
I was on my way from Canberra to Queensland, as I stopped at this restaurant. They seemed to be busy but instantly greeted me warmly and seated me. I ordered the pollo di mare. It was to die for. One of the best dishes I have ever had in my life. It reminded of a dish I had when I last visited Milano in Italy. Than came time for dessert. I embarked on a delicious journey of berry pancotta, chef Franco's daughter had made. I was amazed at how much talent this 16 year old girl had. His other two daughters provided excellent service, always attending to my needs. If it would be filling up my glass with they're gorgeous house wine, or just checking to see how my meal was. So pleased with this restaurant. Well done la Casa.
Amazy Crazy. We came to the restaurant from Sydney on our way to Canberra & were recommended by some friends. Packed to the rafters tonight in the restaurant! I arrived with my guests and was immediately greeted by the staff, it seemed to be a family affair there which only added to the great atmosphere. Really friendly. I ordered the seafood hot pot, it was to die for. A real generous meal. The menu itself is a really diverse Italian menu with things from the regions of Italy (that I didn't try & pronounce). The staff headed by Franco were really helpful in choosing wines & accompanying dishes. I saw the amazy crazy desserts, all apparently home made - I tried the special flambé dessert which he did at our table. Again, to die for. The hint of danger in the flames was so intriguing! My wife had a traditional tiramisu, simple but beautiful. Can safely say ill definitely be revisiting.
Good Authentic Italian Food!. Have only dined at this restaurant once but was very impressed with the meals - the gnocchi just melted in one's mouth and to me it tasted even better than what we ate around Italy itself! Just a pity about the views, as it has full glass windows overlooking Auburn street - personally I would block them up and re-create a more rustic european interior, as the view of the street was quite depressing and is in stark contrast to the quality of the food served. Also discovered the restaurant serves breakfast - even on a Sunday(!) The menu, on first glance looks to be quite interesting and not your typical Aussie-style breakky - will definitely have to go back to try out the breakfast one day!
