Review Emperor Asian Restaurant - Goulburn

A traditional Chinese restaurant. Open late. Efficient service. Reasonable sweet and sour pork. I would go again.

Clearly understaffed. Rude front of house. We were ignored when we arrived then watched as others arrived after us, were served and had eaten and left the restaurant by the time my partner's meal arrived. Others arrived and table water was provided. When I asked for table water, I was told "you wait". The spring rolls were very good, hot and crisp. The fried rice was cold and the batter for the salt and pepper squid was massively oversalted. After one and three quarter hours when my partner's meal finally arrived we asked that our meals be put in take away containers. They then tried to charge us for a drink ordered but not provided. We won't be back.

Out for a drive for the day and we were getting hungry checked what was around and the reviews and well. Let me tell you the reviews for Emperor Asian are spot on. Food is great tender tasty and we'll served Staff are super accommodating found them to be full of smiles which also makes the whole experience that my h more enjoyable

Wow! This restaurant has a quiet ambience, the music subtle, the staff polite. We started with Short Soup which was one of the best I have had. We then shared Chicken Chow Mein, Sweet and Sour Pork and Satay Beef. All were lovely. Then deep fried icecream - and a generous serving at that! Yep - a great place for Chinese food. 😀

With some added soy, Pad Thai was fresh and delicious as was the beef and blackbean. Girl at front desk was very polite and helpful. $12 Lunch Special, who could complain.

Absolutely HORRIBLE. When we first entered, we were “greeted” by a very rude lady who doesn’t know the difference between Schweppes lemonade and sprite, which THEY HAD. Ordered the Mongolian lamb lunch specials and the rice was horrible, tasted like it was stale or reheated. The lamb was just disgusting. Should of left as soon as the lady gave us some attitude. DO NOT COME HERE. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Worst thing to happen to Chinese since the mongols. Less flavour than room temp water.

I’m from Sydney we’re Chinese is on every corner and this place is the best Chinese I’ve ever had duck pancakes are absolutely to die for. I need more stars to give.

This is fast becoming our go to lunch place! Fresh, delicious food and friendly service even when they are almost full like today. Highly recommend the lunch specials especially the mongolian lamb and honey chicken. Thanks we will be back!

I wish I had more stars to give you guys. We ordered our food for delivery and it arrived super quick. The food is delicious! And the complimentary chicken wings are amazing. As well as fortune cookies and prawn chips. Satay chicken is incredible, some of the best I have ever had. The service was great too, from the lady on the phone to the guy who delivered it, all class and professionalism. I live 3 hours away from Goulburn and will definitely consider coming back just for this place!

Best Chinese in Goulburn, and we’ve tried them all. Duck pancakes are to die for. All meals well presented and delicious. Great service.

Its hard to find nice Chinese, these guys do the best Mongolian lamb, salt and pepper pork Ribs and pork ribs in Peking sauce!!! Love it :)

Gave this place a try, as the usual haunt was closed. Boy, was I surprised. A country Asian restaurant with modern decor!!! Fantastic food, done at a reasonable price!

Drove past Goulburn and the design of the shop lead me into it. The food is great, something you would find in Sydney and the customer service is really good. Each staff served you with a warm friendly smile.
