Review The Bistro At The Bowlo - Goulburn

Place was very old & a little run down. Beds were comfy & good having electric blanket. Price was a bit steep for the condition .our room was prob only worth $100 a night max but we paid $263 for 2nights for 4people. It is what it is. The staff were friendly & helpful.

Ordered for takeaway some of their different schnitzel meals from the bistro in the club and oh.....my.....god!! The Mexican schnitzel was absolutely divine and one of the best meals I've ever had!! My brother had the meatlover schnitzel and devoured it.. loving every mouthful also. The staff are always lovely to deal with and so helpful and friendly. The club itself is always very clean and presented beautifully. Highly recommend checking out the yummy food available at their bistro... love that they (unlike some other clubs in town) also offer takeaway/pickup meals-I'm often bedbound and cannot go anywhere for weeks at a time.... but can still occasionally enjoy a delicious bistro meal without needing to leave my bed or house.

Great place to have a day with mates, and this is the only place to watch the ufc in Goulburn!!! I drove around from club to pub and was told sorry.... then found the bowling club and they had multiple screens showing the action 👍

What a great small bowling club next to the railway. Nice feel club. Made to feel very welcoming and friendly by staff and regular patrons. Thanks to Scott - manager and to all the staff. My husband and I (visiting from Bega area) have been to the club on a daily basis of our 1 weeks visit to historic Goulburn. Playing social bowls. Bingo. Relaxing and dining for either lunch or dinner. (Love their meals). The bistro at the bowlo called - Spices and the variety of different flavours of meals and their weekly daily specials is just the best value and so yummy and scrumptious. The staff who run the bistro side of the bowlo are extremely efficient and friendly. A big asset to the club. Has been pleasure to visit the bowlo. Highly recommend the bowlo for anyone visiting Goulburn. MM

Great drink prices for members. Courtesy bus and member draws. Meals not so good although large portions they came out tough and tasteless.

By far one of the best places to eat in Goulburn. Variety of dishes and nightly specials. Cheap drinks.

It is the best Club in Goulburn. Good food, friendly staff and great bowling. It's a place to meet old and new friends in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.

Great club,drinks are cheapest in town, great friendly staff, there's a friend wherever you sit at the bowo and bowlers are the friendliest people in town, always welcoming

Always a friendly experience..... great food at the bistro . Lunches always 2 for the price of 1. We love the Country/Rock'n'roll/ Easy Listening music every 3rd Sunday from 11.30 till 3.30pm and the friendly atmosphere.
