Had Saturday lunch celebrating my son's and partner's birthday!
Ordered Beer Battered Fish, Buddha Bowl/ Sweet Pot chips, Bean Loaded Nacos. All delicious meals. The Sticky Date pudding- was top shelf delish.
Bike weekend.. stopped for lunch. Always good food and Quick. Good service & staff. Been here before and will be back. Plenty of parking around. A great park across the road too. Enjoy.. we did.
On a very hot day, the cool of the pub inside was fabulous! Clean, tidy and three wonderful helpful smiling lasses looking after things behind the bar and delivering food.
The food we had; the special pan fried salmon and salad and a haloumi and sweet potato burger with chips and salad could best be described as good honest hearty food. Decent sized portions, the chips were fantastic and it is surprising how often places cannot do a good chip, the salad/slaw was fresh and bright, but the burger was a bit dry but still quite tasty. Overall though, well done. My partners salmon was "to die for."
